What is Crossfit Huntsville?
We are a local training facility dedicated to the goal of improving the health and fitness of our community. We accomplish this by offering a variety of challenging, competitive, and fun programs, all of which are built on the Crossfit methodology.

Do I need to already be in shape to do CrossFit?
The best part about our program is that the workouts we do are 100% scalable to individual needs. It doesn’t matter if you are a professional MMA fighter or a professional soccer mom. It also doesn’t matter how long it has been since you have worked out. Our program is designed to adapt to your abilities on day one.

What’s the difference between CrossFit and CrossFit  Women?
CrossFit Women is the same world-class strength and conditioning program done in our CrossFit classes, but in a women-only group with a female instructor.

What is Yoga for Athletes?
Yoga for Athletes is a fast-paced Ashtanga yoga class, designed to increase strength and flexibility through a range of motion that compliments many of the movements taught in both our Crossfit and Bootcamp classes. Go Here for more info.

How Do I sign up?

Step 1-  Come to our free beginner’s class, held every saturday morning at 12 noon. This course is a breif 30 minute intro into our program, and includes a short beginners workout to give you some idea of what CrossFit is like.

Step 2- Once you decide to sign up, we ask you to attend 4 fundamental training sessions. These small-group or individual sessions cover the basic movments we use in our classes, teach you proper mechanics and form, and include  course on diet and nutrition. Once you are done with these four sessions, you can join the CrossFit group class of your choice.

Why do I have to complete a fundamentals course?
These courses familiarize you with fairly complex movements that we use regularly in CrossFit classes. After your training sessions with one of our coaches, you will feel safer, more confident, and more prepared to join the regular class. The diet and nutrition class is vital to the improvement of your health and fitness.

How much do programs cost?
The cost of CrossFit Huntsville programs varies depending on several things, including how many days a week you attend and which program you join. Please visit our Programs section to learn more about individual programs and their costs.


I am Visiting From Out of Town, Can I Drop In?
Absolutely. We love to see new faces at our facility. In order to drop in, you must have completed a fundamentals course at another CrossFit affiliate, be level 1 certified, or have trained for at least three months at another affiliate. View our schedule here, and then send us an email letting us know you will be coming by, and what class you would like to attend. Our drop in fee is 15.00, and we accept both cash or check.

How intense are the classes?
Our programs are completely scalable. In other words- you decide exactly how intense the workout is going to be.

What results can I expect?to put it simply- You can expect to get in the best shape of your life. Our average client loses ten pounds in the first few weeks of training with us, all while feeling better, looking better, and getting stronger.

Where are your programs held?
Our CrossFit classes are held at CrossFit Huntsville, and our Bootcamp classes are held at the Matrix Gym, and alternating outdoor locations.

Are there shower facilities available?
Our gym does not currently have available showers. Our sister gym, the Matrix, has showers and locker rooms that are free to all CrossFit Huntsville members.
