I did push jerks today – I’ve been in crossfit for 9 months and this is the first time I finally got push jerk technique. About half way through I figured out the pop and speed of it. 115, 135(f), 125 (rough), 125(this is where it clicked), 135, 145, 155 (PR) and still felt like I had a little more in me. It’s good to finally figure out a workout that has been alluding me.
Finished the first week of level 3 combatives today. Way more taxing than I anticipated. Scored highest in the class on the PT test Wednesday. Went to the gym today and did DL 1-1-1-1-1-1-1 @ 405# for all.
Did push jerks today. Got a pr but it could be higher if I would have good form. 155-185-185-205(x)-205-205-215PR. I dont know if yall watched the video that garth posted a link to yesterday. If you haven’t, you really should it is one of the funniest thing I have ever seen
Did the pullup workout today. Round one used 8kg weight, and then had to switch to 6kg for the next and used 8# weight for the rest. Made 6 rounds in 30 mins. Very brutal. How anyone did this as prescribed is unbelievable. Lots of room for improvement.

looks like: 1 barbell complex/2 pull ups, ascending to 10 barbell complexes and 20 pull ups.
1 complex is the following in order:
– deadlift
– power clean
– front squat
– push jerk
– push press
perform the complex in its entirety to equal 1 rep. do not drop bar during a complex to rest. rest only after completing each complex if needed.

Did the pullup workout from a few days ago. Monsterous! My notebook is in the car but from memory:
Rd 1 8kg kb, rds 2-5 8lb dumbbell – finished 5 rds + 3 wt. pullups + 1 strict in 30 minutes. 39 sets. Definitely a strength workout! Got to get my arms stronger!!
