16s slower than last time, but my legs are still wrecked from front squats Wednesday. Got the first 50 unbroken, but I broke up the last three sets quite a bit. I’m not sure my quads have ever been this sore.
Kick some ass at the games russell. Those events look like they’ll suit you pretty well.

Recently accepted a job in Huntsville, and I really want to get involved with Crossfit Huntsville when I get moved in this August.
13:30…. a horrible and painful 13:30. My legs felt like they gave up after the first round.
14:15 felt horrible during but pretty good afterwards!
I so wish I were there!
First workout on a nude beach (there was a fat man playing a uculaylee (sp?) that was only naked from the pants down…….very strange…….

Every step and every squat hurt. I actually do feel a little better after this WOD, but I am still in a lot of pain from the front squats.
I am not hearing a ton of interest in the Sunday games. Therefore, this is my plan (only 2 WODs):
Noon — CF Games deadlift workout. In short, it is a lot of deadlifting in a short amount of time. Check the games site if you want to get specifics. Could definitely use some folks to help each other with this one.
6pm — trail run up the trail at the top of Cecil Ashburn Rd. I have not done this route, but I hear it is a good climb.
Let me know if you will be at the trail run so I can look for you. Join up if you like.

Complete as many rounds in twenty minutes as you can of:
8 Pull-ups + 8 Dips
4 Feet-supported Handstand Push-ups
8 24kg Kettlebell swings
5 rounds + 8 pull-ups + 6 dips

Guess i was wrong about people not completing all the DL’s. Josh Everett and Jason Khalipa both have so far. Khalipa was 2nd to last on the run as well.
Shit 11 competitors at 505 for the DL
That’s what I have been saying. I think they screwed the pooch with the DL event. The people that put the games together didn’t think anyone would reach 505 and then they had 11 do it.
So Everett is not in the top 5 after all.
Listening to the CF radio thing…stake drive sounds pretty crazy, should be interesting though.

Great job on hill run but lost sandbag right before fjnish. Picked up quickly and got second in heat– 23rd overll. Also, to clarify, 16 got 505 and tied for first in dl. Everett slowed bigtime in hill run.

Kinda messed up that so many people got away with only 1 point from that event, but I guess we’ll see how it pans out.

Craig just sent me a text Russell finished 16 out of 20 in his heat…. it ended up being a big man’s event.
Russeell did great at the row/hammer. Lots of guys lost it mentally and took way too long with the hammer. Great row and hammered well. Paced with much bigger guys. Ahead ofspealler and Everett. Few more to go but he is around 20th

I was at the lake Friday and had to make up my own course. I was WAY off on the distance– took about 23 minutes to do the workout. But better too much than too little.
