10 minute squat test

    Finally getting back to wanting to be in the gym. Nothing makes me want to be lazy like 6 hard workouts in one weekend.

    Did some upper-body strength work with Kevin yesterday during open gym:

    worked up to a 3rm floor press- 235
    Then did 9 x3 speed bench at 50% of max with light bands

    Then finished up with some accessory work

    triceps are sore as crap today.

    My experience with snatch balance has been uniformly dreadful, but strangely, looking forward to 5:30 and butting heads with that goat. If nothing else, great practice for safely dropping the bar in random directions.

    95#, but completed the 10 minute squat test…Woo Hoo!

    I tried to register for the cooking workshop but it won’t let me because I have technically already used all of my classes for this week.

    • No worries Ben. Just show up for the work shop. We’ve been running into a bit of that since we have upgraded everyone to unlimited for the month of June.

    Kinda weak after yesterday’s WOD, only 70#. Good practice though.
