Screwed up and didn’t write down the rest period so I went with :45 instead of :90. I also did an extra round, because I didn’t think the distance was 50 full yards inside the gym (around 40-45).
I went with 125# DBs that didn’t match up in bar width. One was normal and one was fat. There were also people that would stand right in front of me while I was walking back and forth.

Wanted to share a little video from CNN about CrossFit. Not endorsing any news networks here, but it is a small clip that hits on some reasons why I love CrossFit. Also CNN is a major news source, not sure of its accuracy, but it does show how CrossFit is starting to gain momentum and support from when I first started in its infancy. I am betting, before long it won’t only be a premier training paradigm, it will also evolve into an international sport we watch on ESPN. I already claim it to be a sport, lifestyle, etcetera myself. Thought I could get this wod unbroken and started out strong until the later rounds when hands slipped off the bar from sweat and then shoulders hit failure on the push-ups. Sub-12 would have been sick, but I’m content with sub-15.

19:52 as rx’d. Was hoping for a much better time on this. Pullups and squats were good. (I actually DIDN’T hate the squats and I believe they had good depth FINALLY!) I need to learn Tracey’s pushup technique or maybe my arms are just weak. First 2 rounds were good but then the slide began and I ended up with singles with a child’s pose in between. Gonna tweak diet some and see where that goes.

the cost will be $293 by the end of next week, and $75 when the meat is picked up near the end of the month.
