1.5 rounds at 20min cutoff
Did maybe 10 a round at 30lbs and the rest with the pvc pipe. Flexibility issues move the weight forward at the bottom of the squat making it really tough to stabilize the weight. L pullups scaled down to 12.
At :20 cutoff 1 rd + 64 (got 1 LPU of the last LPU set in 2nd rd)
Scaled with 25 pound for db 1-arm snatch, LPU’s as rx’d
Looking forward to FGB tomorrow, if we get to do it…that being said, with the current programming format, I’m still on the fence about how I feel knowing what “might” be the next day’s WOD. I don’t know if subconciously I will pull back a little because I want to kill it the next day. Stupid head games. I probably just set myself up and Russell will have a surprise for us anyway and this rambling was pointless.
And compared to 091129 (2rds + 36 with 30pound DB at cutoff), I’m embarassed. I don’t have in my notes what the cutoff time was, but today was awful. I’ve been feeling really flat lately…or I could just stop being a pussy and man up. Whatever. Damn I’m pissed.

took the runs very slooooooooooow, easy-peasy. squat thrusts weren’t happening on the burpees, so subbed pushups and jumping. didn’t rush the squats, all of which is blatantly evident in my time of…
scaled 20# and did 12 kpu’s(needed the practice) 2 rounds + 10 snatch.
I actually did pretty good on db snatch squat. Felt like I was in a good groove, before I couldn’t breath and had to stop 🙂
*Do not drop the weight.
*If weight is dropped, count a penalty. 3 handstand push ups for penalty.
*Go as heavy as possible.
*Rest as needed between rounds.

Probably the hottest / uncomfortable / flat I’ve every felt during a WOD. Wod started to cross into the zone of doing more damage than good so I had no intention of completing round 3.
Heat definitely causing issues. Felt ataxic and drunk during the pullups of round 2. Had the chills and shivers post WOD for about and hour and a half.
Taking the weekend off. Just active rest stuff.
If it is still ballz hot tomorrow then yall be careful doing FGB!!!
I’m more than ready for our new gym to be ready for work.
As Rx: 1.5 rds at 20 min cut off. Mostly power snatch. Just could get the knees to proper depth. Should have scaled. Lots of looking at the DB, leaning over and looking for water. Just couldn’t get my mind right today.

I feel you! My Lynne score was shitty compared to January. Heavier weight, but pullups were crap.
