    12:33 with 20# vest

    Z- My pride or guilt or something got the best of me so I had to ask Jake…we only have 20 pounders in the gym…Oh well 40# would have been gnarly.

      Dude, I could have sworn that KLowe told me his was a 40# vest.

      Its 40 if all the ingots are crammed into one vest. I made two 20lb vests for Murph. 40lb vest would have been brutally not good for the “not used to it” back and knees.

Next thing you’ll want is a status update page and then we will all have to hear about the next time Tracey drops a deuce before a wod ๐Ÿ™‚ On second thought, I rather enjoy discussing our movements and itโ€™s loads more interesting than the random, mind-numbing megalomaniacal “updates” people leave on facebook. I mean seriously…who cares? Now lets talk poo.

    11:57. Good call Aaron, if it was 40# I would have felt really slow, although Im not feeling fast after seeing Justin’s time. You still did great for carrying the extra weight. Jake/Tracey thanks for keeping me from doing the Spealler air-squats. 7 mile run at lunch (lightning permitting) should feel good after this one.

    Also, just because I am excited, 2POOD got an email from OPT today about the shirt he has. Cool guy and a beast of a human being.

      James Fitzgerald of OPT? Did you see their “flight simulator” wod? That would sharpen your DU’s and 25% of it would be a great warm-up and DU practice.

    Later on at 12:45 I did Overhead/ Burpee WOD.
    scaled 95# did all 20 overhead push jerk, then the 40 burpees.

    Today was handstand day for us:
    4×10 HSPU (all on the box…no one here can do that many real ones)
    3x10sec handstands
    3x20sec “”
    3x30sec “”
    1 min handstand
    assisted HSPU (from pullup bar with bands)

    I bailed after the handstands, didn’t try any of the assisted HSPU, had to get to Texas Hold ’em night! Woohoo!
