    4 rds, Thrusters scaled 115#
    20 min cut off

MU’s got me this morning. I was linking first 2-3, then it would take my 10 attempts to get the last couple. Very frustrating! I need to apologize to Matt, Mandy and Paul for my outbursts. πŸ™‚ On a positive note, I was able to link my Thrusters and get the last 3 rounds unbroken…probably should have gone to 125#.

Tracey–just wanted to see if you were gonna be around this afternoon. I’ll be at the 4:30 class & wanted to talk to you about getting my measurements done, etc. in prep for me starting my own personal “Zone Challenge.” Bought the book and did a lot of reading this weekend, so I think I’m gonna start next Monday (conveniently AFTER the Super Bowl, right??) πŸ˜‰ Thanks!!

  3. Justin says:

    27:42 as rx’d
All thrusters unbroken, but all muscle ups in singles. Muscle ups were pretty slow, but I didn’t miss once until the last one. I missed it 4 times before actually getting the last one. Muscle up form needs a lot of work.

    • Aaron says:

Good job! Glad to see you’re not sandbagging before this weekend’s games πŸ™‚

    • Justin says:

I tried to sneak by with just 135 on the bar. Russell called me out on it right before we started, and I couldn’t think of a good excuse.

  4. Craig Herr says:

25 minute cut off (4 complete rounds)

thrusters as rx (very freakin heavy)
*I basically did one at a time–20 cleans at 155.

    bar muscle ups

  5. Craig Herr says:

Slade great up close and personal photo!!

    • Slade White says:

Sort of a Lou Ferrigno going green face…..or maybe an Exlax poster child…. πŸ™‚

  6. LeshaS says:

Thrusters as rx’d. Yes, very freakin’ heavy. Able to do 2 or 3 before dropping the bar to the ground because I DID NOT want to clean each time. I have a nice bruise on my sternum from being indecisive about where I wanted the bar to drop to once…

    Asst MU’s

    20 min cut-off: 3 rounds even

  7. Mandee Miller says:

    3 rounds even
    20 minute cut off
    Thrusters as rx’d
    Assisted muscle ups

  8. Will Blankenship says:

    -As rx’d: 155 pound Thruster, 5 reps
    -Sub’d: 5 MU attempts + 5 MU progressions
    -Run 400m

    Completed 3 rounds + 5 thrusters

I haven’t spent enough time learning the muscleup. I probably made around 20 attempts actually. I get so close and then… rejection.

I definitely provided a healthy portion of profanity for the 11:30 class today.

  9. Daniel says:

3 rounds at 25′ as Rx’d. I was excited. Thrusters unbroken, and linked 3 sets of 2 muscle ups. It doesn’t sound like much, but I was super excited to get my thrusters unbroken and just to get a muscle up. Then when I linked a few muscle ups, I was in high Crossfit heaven. It was a good day for me.

  10. Karen says:

4 rounds 26:22 (25 minute cut off, but I was running so I finished up the round)
    assisted muscle ups
    110 lb thrusters

    Great energy Daniel!

  11. joe c says:

    25:58 scales 115#

  12. Tmac says:

25:54 – 5 rounds (over 25min cutoff, but was running and wanted to finish)
    Round 1 – 155# thruster
Round 2 – 155# 3 reps, form wasn’t there so dropped to 135# remaining 2 reps, and stayed with 135# for Rounds 3-5.
    MU’s on low rings.

  13. Slade White says:

Scaled doing 135 lb thrusters, sissy muscle ups, and 400 m.

Finished in 26:10 Ran out of wind today and felt like my lungs weren’t able to fill. Not sure why.

  14. Robert S. says:

    Scaled to 125# thrusters.

3 rounds completed in 25 minutes. To be honest, I took way too much time fooling around with MUs. I don’t know what the hell has happened to me to cause my body to suddenly reject the muscle up. I was able to get them the first time I ever tried, but today it just wasn’t happening.

  15. klowe says:

    rx: 15:04
-That sucked in a wonderful type of way
    thrusters unbroken
MU’s 5,5,3-2,3-2,3-1-1 (missed on one MU attempt in last round)

  16. Kerri says:

    4 rds. in 25:41- 25 min cutoff
    Thrusters as rx’ed-110#
    Assisted mu’s

Had problems at least one each round of locking out overhead. I think this was because I was keeping my arms in a rack position (elbows way up), instead of back down to a pp positions. I think that was keeping me from having the power to drive overhead. Gotta work on this.

Lesha, I know what you mean about a sternum bruise…..no collarbone issues today; just lucky to get it up to the sternum!!!

  17. Jake Naumcheff says:

    24:34 as Rx’d

Last 2 rounds of Muscle-ups took around 4 to 5 minutes each. This workout has all 3 of my biggest CrossFit weaknesses so I’m ok with that time.

  18. tracey says:

24:47 @ 95# and assisted mu’s. The WORST part for me was cleaning the freakin bar. I hate cleans!!!!!I have to get more efficient at that movement. Happy to get 95# thrusters, my hip function is a lil better.

  19. Barry S says:

    20:15, 115# & muscle up transitions…

  20. Tasha W says:

22:43 scaled at 65# with MU transitions. (I think I wrote 60# on the board. Prolly cause that’s what I wanted to do, but Jake called me out so I added more!)

  21. Patrick says:

    28:55
    Scaled 140#
Bar MU 1st and 5th round
    Many failures rounds 2,3,4
I’m giving up on those damn things, I’ll admit defeat and move along.
