LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS PICTURE!!!!
THIS NEEDS TO BE IN HER BABY BOOK.
Awe! I LOVE this pic, too! So funny it showed up today… I just uploaded and ordered a bunch of pics for the “Crossfit Mom” section of her baby book, which includes a log I kept of all the WODs I did while pregnant, the numbers from the two 5K’s I ran in my first trimester, and of course, pictures! Wow.. so hard to believe this was taken two days before I went into labor. She’ll be 5 weeks tomorrow, I just can’t believe it!
Miss you guys and really looking forward to getting back to CF with y’all – hopefully before the New Year! 🙂
Sweet Baby Addison!
I like the quote for today….strangely I was listening to the Drive By Truckers Today while stringing Christmas lights. I heard this one that stuck with me. Kindof the same quote in a sense.
“Dead is dead and it ain’t no different than walking around if you ain’t living…..
Living in fear is just another way of dying before your time”
Interesting choice of music to be listening to while hanging christmas lights

Kept the rows around a 1:55 pace and the thrusters unbroken.
Didn’t remember doing this one before, but my log says I did it in 15:59 in January.

Sweet picture Tasha!
So, big weekend coming up for your daughter!! I don’t remember, did you say tickets are available at the door or do I need to get in advance? I’m thinking of going Friday! Can I sit with you guys or do you have “special parent seating”?
Thanks for remembering the Nutcracker on Ice is this weekend! The show is at the Iceplex just across the street from CFHSV.
Tickets are available for advance purchase or at the door ($12 adults, $8 kids, $1 military discount). Shows are Friday (7pm), Saturday (7pm), and Sunday (2pm).
While you are there, keep your eye out for our little 8 yr old blondie! Sara-Kate is super excited and will be in Act I,IV as young “Clara” and Act III as a snowflake.
We will be backstage but hope to see you at the rink!

Please keep Katherine in your prayers. Kat is still not out of the woods, as far as her recovery goes. It’s a very stressful time in there lives. So please remember the both of them.
Thanks for the update. We’re praying for her!
16:57 Rx except Runs for Row.
Ran 2 trips around the island. If I recall correctly, “The Matrix” 400m was whiteboard, 2 island laps, back to whiteboard. An 800m was 5 laps around the island starting at the door. No? So, I guess the runs were somewhere near 400m.
that’s how i remember the runs at the Matrix.

New gym is beautiful. It is weird having a nice view and actual sunlight inside of the gym.
Love it!

I hate rowing!
Love the new gym.
Hope Kat is doing well and gets good news today!
Jake or Tracey or somebody;
I believe I left my grey hoodie on one of the chairs outside the office. If someone could put that in the office for me I’ll get it tomorrow. Thanks.
got it

I’m still recovering from a pulled hip flexor, so I went a little light today. I kept the rows around 2:00.

Felt slow out of the bottom on the thrusters, and missed several due to not locking out. Not very happy with this one.

Nice work. How come we did not race for this one? Your college classes are getting in the way of some fun competition. You gotta fix this problem.
nice job
18:01 as rxd. Ran 400m runs the last time we did this one with a time of 21:21. Just glad to do this one today. Got a cold that is dropping into my chest so breathing is challenging!
Did Crossfit Impulses affiliate team workout in the afternoon with my baseball players at 10:14, had to use a 55# dumbell for the kb swings, but all else was the same.
10 135# squat clean; 20 pushups; 30 135# deadlift; 40 double unders; 50 1.5 pd kb swings; 60 situps (unanchored); 70 squats.
Good all around workout.

Did this one as rx’ed, but probably should have scaled the weight. I was out of steam by the second round and dragging the whole way through. Not all of the thrusters were full locked out over head. A rough one to shake the weekend off. 🙂
The picture is awesome Tasha. I’ve been missing all of you guys and I’ve gotten so fat since I’ve been gone. I plan to come to Open House and hope to be back with you all soon.
