“Lumberjack 20” – Did this as Rx’d except I did 30 reps of each exercise since it was my 30th Birthday. Doing this by myself was not fun. Wish I could have made it Saturday and done it with everyone else.

Had a lot of trouble dropping under the weight. Everything over 175 I had to press out overhead after I landed. Overhead PR by 20 and a PR on split jerk by 40 or 50.
This was a fun lift. First time on split jerk and I think I started out to low. I was able to get 155 overhead and under it the second time, but I didn’t feel I held it long enough to count. I can see this lift really helping with the snatch.
205,225,245,255x,260PR – cut short due to the groundbreaking…which is an “acceptable” reason.
260 went up relatively easy and was a PR. Think 265/270 is definitely witin reach now

It was really weird being back in the old gym today…..after being in the warehouse I could not even imagine working out in there now….funny to think that we did for so long.

A little bit rushed, but, think all those fails were simply about form.
Once I got the feet going, and doing a ‘quick’ split instead of a slow one, I got it. Always good to have Russell easily seeing where form is lacking!!

Ground breaking was great and it felt great to be apart of Crossfit Huntsville. Continue to tell friends about our bootcamp class, its a good alternative to regular Crossfit.
135-135-145-145-135-135-135. “Form Day” today, which was desperately needed. Also, my 95-105-115 reps were counted as a “warm up” by Russell. Saw some definite improvement in technique here. Thanks for the instruction Russell—

1 – pull up 87 lbs(both girls hanging on me) – almost got this to the top – my 1RM is 60lbs
