    Not that it probably affected me much, but my legs are completely wasted from Saturday’s 5k then WOD and clearing out food plots in the woods yesterday. Getting a massage later today to help out (I hope).

    Chick-Fil-A is giving away a free entree every Monday night in April from 5-7PM. Today: 8-pack chicken nuggets. There is no purchase required and its available at every Chic-Fil-A location in Huntsville/Madison.

    Can’t beat FREE 🙂 Those things are like crack to my kids.

    Today we did a light sandstorm workout…LT said we cancel when visibility gets below 200m, & we were at least 500m this afternoon… 😉
    7 rounds for time:
    200m run
    9 overhead squats @ 115#
    9 pullups

    I scaled to 75# & jumping pullups
    24:50 (lost a couple minutes first round or two, with confusion over places/boxes, etc, but it straightened itself out by round 3)

    btw great article/rant on knee push ups. I TOTALLY AGREE. I prefer plop and plank, as to the peel off the floor method…peeling hurts my low back.

    I could NOT grip the bar for a snatch with shredded hands so I did 3×3 backsquat… 105-115-125PR

    Had to miss WOD to attend a dinner, ugh!! Got off work at 415, so I took a very brisk 3 mile walk thru Research Park. Was HOT! I sweated like crazy, so felt like I got a little workout in. 😉 Looked really cute at dinner, haha–but glad I keep deodorant in one of my desk drawers!!

    Snatch balance practice with the class then:
    5/3/1 Back Squat: 175(5)-190(5)box-210(7)box
    Couldn’t get depth on the regular back squats so used a the flat bench for box squats. Technically half squats because I wasn’t below parallel.

    This one just didn’t go well at all.

    I made it up to about 95 lbs and started falling. I think the problem with all of my overhead squats is shoulder strength and flexibility. I just can’t seem to keep it in the correct spot overhead.
