This was an image Kat took yesterday of me throwing snowballs to the dog. We have about twice as much snow today.

Sorry for the late cancellation of morning classes. It didn’t seem safe to be driving down monte sano blvd. in the dark this morning.

Lunch and evening classes are still a go, so if you missed the 6 or 7AM this morning you are welcome to come in at another time.

Dang……even your dog has a better vertical leap than I do.

Love the pic! He could teach a Canine CrossFit class!

    As Rx’ed- 21:10

Felt very very slow and very very tired. Zak actually thought I was done when he saw me sitting down and resting between sets of thrusters.I imagine this is how many of the games competitors felt during this workout, except they had a good reason and I was just being a wuss.

  5. Brad says:

As RX 34:47 just wasnt there mentally today. Are like Russell said I was just being a wuss. Either way, tuff WOD.

  6. Brad says:

could have been 35:47 whatever is on the white board in the gym.

    As Rx’d
Toes to bar, Muscle-ups, and walking lunges ate my lunch

  8. Karen says:

30:00 Scaled due to lack of MUSCLE UPS (GRR!)-Subbed 15 ring dips. Also, used 24″ box for box jumps (2 – 12 inch boxes, because I like the pad on top.) instead of 20″ box.

Thanks for pushing me, Josh! Keep it up! Sectionals are just around the corner!

  9. J.D. says:

Scaled to 115# for squat cleans. Weighted squats still hard right now.Got caught up on muscle ups– terrible consistency. Only got to 9 of 15 in time, but at least I can do them again. Toes to bar shot my grip strength. This WOD was tough enough up to the muscle ups– I imagine it really sucked for those of you who finished it. Good job!

    Scaled in 35 minute cut-off…
(Recovering from a wrist injury, so I doubled up on the leg stuff and threw in some extra ab work.)

    45 Air Squats
    60 Sit-Ups
    60 Box Jumps @ 20″
    60 Tuck Jumps
    60 Butterfly Sit-Ups
600 ft Walking Lunges with 30 lbs
    50 Sit-Ups

    Home Gym:

    SDHP @95lbs
    ring dips

Trying to do movements that I haven’t done in a while to make sure I’m prepared for the games. Did this at about 80%.

  12. Katie says:

At the 30:00 cutoff, I was about 20-ft into the 300 ft plate carry

Scale: 85lb squat clean, ass’d ring dips, 20lb DB, 85lb thruster.

  13. tracey says:

34:01 scaled weight to 85# squat clean, ring dips, 75# thruster…I did du’s broken up, but did it:)
It takes me a long time to warm up my muscles/ range of motion etc. but when its so freakin cold, it makes it even more difficult for them to stay warm and loose.
Except for my butt. It was hot from the lunges. I made some of the girls and Aaron touch it, so they would believe me. Now thats odd!

Jake did it solo at the end of the day!!! Good job JHickey:)

  14. Barry S says:

200′ short of completion at the 35:00 cutoff, scaled to 125# sc, abmat, ring dips, 35# pp, 95# thrusters, ring rows, & 35# overhead for the lunges.
