21:26 scaled to 75lbs thrusters
Much tougher hero wod than it reads and my body is still wrecked from Adam Brown. On a plus, all thrusters were unbroken.
I had a women tell me this weekend that I should try ballet to get stronger……bwwwhahahahaha!
This woman couldn’t carry a 20 lb bag of cat litter without breaking a bone or hurting herself.
I sent her the link that was posted on yesterday’s WOD and I managed to refrain from telling her off because I am pretty sure she called me a she-man because I lift weights and have *some* muscle tone.
Just remember what my sister said yesterday – “Your friend with the before and after picture is effing HOT!”
21:36
scaled with 75lbs. Tough wod. left shoulder is getting stronger.
Thrusters as rx (#65)
Regular push-ups
19:10
On another note… I had a PT test for work Friday. Usually we run 1.5 miles for time, but due to the heat, we just did 1 mile. The last time I did just one mile for time, (without going into some thrusters or burpees), about 2 years ago, I was at 11:01. SLOWER than Christmas… Friday, I ran a mile in 8:20. Still not breaking any sound barriers, but I was happy!
Awesome job!!
Nice!
Great work!
thats great!
allsum!!!
weekend workouts-

wow….you smoked “annie”
For anyone interested, I’m starting a 13 week half marathon training plan for the Huntsville Half on 11/13 this week. I’m following the CF Endurance philosphy be reducing my volume, increasing intensity and throwing the LSD run out the window. I plan to run 3x a week consisting of 2 Interval/Track workouts and 1 Tempo/Time Trial, with the Tempo/TT runs falling on our CF rest days. I’m still planning on hitting CF 5x a week. The days I run will vary but I plan to run at least every other day, with no more than 2 days between a run and some weeks I’ll have back to back days that will have a Tempo/TT followed by a Interval/Track day. I also plan to run all of my Interval/Track runs at the Huntsville High track in the pm. Let me know if you’re interested in suffering, I mean, training with me 🙂 This would be a great opportunity to work on Pose and get ready for any upcoming fall races.
First run is tomorrow: INTERVAL/TRACK WORKOUT
1:1 Intervals
45 sec on, 45 sec off, 1:30 on, 1:30 off, 3 min on, 3 min off, 6 min on, 6 min off, 3min on, 3 min off, 1:30 on, 1:30 off, 45 sec on
I’m in. Let me know what time
19:50 – scaled to 75#. I also had to scale ring push ups to 7 per round starting in round 3. My shoulder started acting up. Tough WOD.
21:37 (7 rounds; 55#, ring push ups)
19:48 – scaled 75#, 6 ring push ups
7 rounds @ 20 min
I couldn’t push myself… felt like hell. I was sick all last week and it killed me today. It’s the closest I’ve been to quiting a wod in a long time. Killer workout. Very deceptive.
as rx’d
7+5 @ 20′ as Rx’d. Great job to all those who finished. I was smoked after this WOD.
7 rounds as rx’d…shoulders had nothing left after 3 rounds. I also think ADAM BROWN kicked my a$$ on sat. RIP Coe and Brown.
8 rounds as rx’d in 20 minutes.
Really wanted to finish this WOD. Probably should have just kept going after the 20 minutes. God Speed SGT Coe.
rx – 13:55
muscle failure was the limiting time factor on this. I pushed pretty hard on the thrusters. Great WOD.
It is still hot
Rx’d
15:18
I’m ok with this since I have bird shoulders that hit muscle failure after 5 reps of HSPU or anything overhead.
6 rds + 10 thrusters @ 20:00, scaled 75#
A steady diet of krispy kremes on sat, sure felt it today. Sometimes i gotta binge to put the importance of nutrition into perspective. I see it again.
Later Ty, thanks for everything and good luck….3,2,1…GO!!!
Scaled to 55# and pullups (no rings available), 17:44 elapsed. Reducing weight was good since I could do all the thrusters w/o a break. Resorted to a 4″ box to help me with the pullups
8 + 6 @ 20, 65#, ring p/u first 4 rounds, then on parallets
CFE

Roughly 16 mins of work and probably just shy of 3 miles. My legs are trashed. I appreciate Jake coming out and doing this one with me. This wod was a good one, especially if you’re not familiar with pacing yourself or dodging pee wee football kids and their parents. I hope more people come out for these runs.
Next CFE Wod is Thursday, 8/19/10: 5K TT, RPE 85% not going all out on this one.
