not great, not bad. Tested the water with 50 double unders and didn’t feel horrible muscle fatigue. Think I may be better by the end of this week or sooner.
Cotton Row 10K in 49.17 (pr). I wanted to finish in the 48’s, but I’m happy with sub 8 miunute mile pace for the entire course. I only had 4 training runs mixed in with Crossfit wods. Hamstrings are sore!

My arm is still sore from the ‘Twins’ the other day. Did a muscle up, a few pull-ups and a rope climb at Santa Monica beach this afternoon and my arm felt like it was going to fall off for about two hours. I hope I didn’t do any permanent damage.

Woke up at 6:00 am and begain mixing huge batch of gatorade and rum (runner’s rum, not rum runner). Setup D.J. turn tables at the end of drive way. Let my friend pump loud music to wake the neighborhood. Proceeded to drink heavily while cheering on the cotton row runners. Scared the hell out of some Kenyans……….
If you are in Santa Monica, you should check out CF LA. It is only about a mile or so from the beach and a great CF box. They also have a CF in the park workout in the mornings.
I have been on that rope on the SM beach. The view is great with the Pier and all the California girls rollerblading and running by.
