“Fight Gone Bad!”

This is a five-minute round. Work at each station for one minute, and take a one-minute break at the end of each 5-minute round. The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. One point is given for each rep, except on the rower where each calorie is one point.

I have missed the previous two times we have done this so it was my first time to “enjoy” fight gone bad. 228. However I did get to witness Robert hold the record for a full 60 seconds….until Russell finished. Great job Robert and Russell.

  2. klowe says:

    345 (21 off of PR).
–very frustrated recently. WOD’s have been trending in the wrong direction.,

I am humbled and that is good.

  3. Daniel says:

Frustrated myself Kevin, 284. Want to do it again tonight with me?

    Congrats Russell and Robert.

  4. klowe says:

    no way!!!
I think my lack of rest and abundance of stress might be playing a roll.

Considering doing nothing for a while.

  5. Robb Dempsey says:

205 … dropped 10 reps from january FGB

  6. Slade White says:

Managed a 222. I must say i’m really impressed with the intensity and spirit you guys show in these workouts. I hope I can reach even half of the performance you all show. Not gonna lie, I was afraid of this one today.

  7. klowe says:

(Craig needs to learn how to count.)

    Got a 354 instead of a 344

STILL GOT SMOKED, and still off of my PR but makes me feel a little bit better.

  8. Daniel says:

Good job Kevin. It was my first ever FGB, and yes I was scared as well Slade. 284 though should have been my score in January not today. Blah. Blah. Blah.

  9. Karen says:

249! Previous was 210. I’m feeling pretty good with that!

  10. Clint says:

(108)(70)(69) = 247 (pr) this is a +37 from last time. I attest the recent gains coming from Russells preaching of the Zone/Paleo combo. For those whom are not believers, you will eventually see the light. I have!

  11. Clint says:

For the love of Pete! Beatn by her again! Grrrrrrr.

  12. James Lambert says:

245 which sucks, I got a 262 back in January.

I think this will go along with Clint’s zone comments. In January when I had the time I was killing Zone paleo, right now I am doing school hard and not able to get my meals cooked.

  13. larrylowe says:

That is a funny picture for today’s workout. I plan on doing FGB tomorrow morning. Shooting for above 275.

  14. tricer says:

237 here. I’d like to say I’m breathing a sigh of relief after that one, but breathing is still hard.

And yes, Clint, she seems to be beating a lot of us consistently!

  15. Karen says:

    It makes me smile!

  16. Robert Montgomery says:

  17. Craig Herr says:

316 pr 269 last time (russell had me substituted push press for shoulder press)

kevin I told you to check my math. How about some props for staying an extra 3 0 minutes and being late to lunch with my wife to help push you to 354?

Congrats Russell and Robert you both worked hard. Robert now you know how I feel when I smoke Kevin at double unders……it feels so so good!!!!!

  18. Craig Herr says:

Trice I am not even going to take liberties with that potential slam dunk you just set up for me with your last comment… it would be to easy !!

  19. Craig Herr says:

Slade you are doing awesome..keep working and in 3 months when we do it again you will kill that score!!!

  20. J.D. says:

    213. I can almost breathe now. I am convinced that Russell, Kevin, and Karen are actually not human, but Terminators, sent to wipe the rest of us out. Seems to be working….

  21. klowe says:

Hey Craig. I really do appreciate pushing me hard. How come you could not push me harder for 14 more reps? LOL…..that is only one more measly rep per exercise. I could have done that!

but really. It was a very good day. I’m just grateful to be able to do what we do.

just bustin ballz on the math thing.

  22. Katherine Berger says:

261….but with a 10lb ball and only 45 for the bar. It was incredibly difficult and my arms feel like jello…and I may have left some internal organs on the green floor 🙂

  23. Justin says:

  24. Zak says:

357…. up 61 points from my last score of 296.

  25. Craig Herr says:

I feel the same way about being lucky to do this at our age K Lowe!!

For those of you that had anxiety for the workout today that is normal we all do in some form or another. You will get better at using that to your advantage the more bench marks you do!!!

Keep pushing remember you are only battling yourself. Hey clint I beat you today!! So did Karen!!!

  26. Craig Herr says:

    Zak that is nice work!!

  27. Jimmy says:

409 up about a hundred reps from last time

  28. Kyle Mosier says:

    First time to do FGB

  29. Brad says:

313 which is down from 331. I started with wall ball shots this time and last time I started with box jumps, which was way easier.

  30. Katie says:

ahhhh I cant believe I missed out today! Good excuse – drove 8 hours straight from Florida. Glad to see some 400+ scores on the board!

  31. Garth says:

293 — was pushing for 300, but just could not go any more on the last round. I felt like I weighed 300 lbs on the box jumps. They were the toughest all three rounds.
There were some truly impressive numbers today but 409 is ridiculous. Jimmy, you were/are the man. Those push presses were insane!

  32. JT says:

Jimmy – post your scores by workout and round so we can see your rep count on each!! I’m thinking i could have gotten 409 if i didn’t work out yesterday with dips and pull ups! HA HA HA

  33. klowe says:

Jimmy. I thought that was a joke but Garth’s post confirms it. That is an INSANE number!!! Congrats!

    You are beast!

  34. Jimmy says:

not sure on all the numbers i got 75 50 50 on the push press 20 10 12 on the row and i think 25 15 16 on the ball throws

  35. Lindsey says:

    Separate Workout:
    Work up to 1 rep max shoulder press: 65×5, 75×5, 85×3, 90×1, 100×1(failed), 95×1 (PR)

  36. Clint says:

Ah Craig you always entertain me. A friend sent me a picture of a pretty strong female doing some Crossfitting the photoshopped image said. Don’t worry just know there is a girl out there warming up with your max. I’ve got this train moving in the right direction. Russell, Kevin, Jimmy, Craig all you guys over 300 are rediculous an inspiration for the rest of us. Ladies out there knocking it out of the park stay strong.

  37. Larry Lowe says:

Did FGB this am – 294
New PR. 40 more than last time. Kinda bummed I didn’t sqeeze out six more reps to get to 300. Next time…

  38. Will Blankenship says:

257 – First time for FGB. I’ll be shooting for 300 next time. The wall ball shots kick my ass every time… I think I hate them worse than burpees.

  39. Katherine Berger says:

Way to go on that shoulder press PR Lindsey!

  40. thejudge says:

i sucked on this one. i think my total was 262

  41. Hudson Slater says:

    289. Legs started getting tired right away

  42. […] a personal note, I had a personal record on Fight Gone Bad today (Read the Recent Post with Russell lifting a barbell and my brother floating in the air like he’s sitting in a chair).  […]
