Chief Petty Officer Nate Hardy was killed Sunday February 4, 2008 during combat operations in Iraq. Nate is survived by his wife, Mindi, and his infant son Parker. 1LT Tyler E. Parten, 24, of Arkansas, died Sept. 10, 2009 in Konar province, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained when insurgents attacked his unit using rocket-propelled grenades and small arms fire. He was assigned to the 3rd Squadron, 61st Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colorado.

MA you are truly an inspiration to all of us. You always work hard and are always cheerful with your smiling face. I have not done a wod RX since April. Since we are doing hero wods today. I will name my wod MA and attack it like a hero wod. My wod consist of a one legged max cal. on assault bike for 30 minutes. I have done this wod 6 days a week for 4 weeks now. I will let you know how I do.
