Thanks, Kevin. I did feel strong on the DL today. To that I credit our trainers and the main site programming and the Oktoberfest games. Lots of cleans, thrusters, and training on proper form have definitely strengthened my back. Also I’ve been pretty good on my diet now for about 2 months.

This makes twice that I haven’t been able to even get my previous pr on DL. Very frustrating… Thanks to Jake, Joe, Aaron, and Katherine for helping me try to fix my form. I’m pretty sure that having Russell and Josh watching my form the last time we did this had a big part to play in that pr.

Every time the bar would start to move at 245, I would feel my lower back completely give way and round. On the plus side, 235 felt pretty easy.

Completed 10 full rounds and was 1 jump short of completing 11th round. Clapping pullups were interesting.
I’m doing the 9.3 mile Xterra trail run tomorrow morning at Monte Sano. I’ve done no specific training for it so I will be interested to see how I do.
