Did the one Wednesday. 235 across

Rumor has it that Kevin took 1st and Dennis 5th in the strongman steeplechase in Chattanooga today.

  2. Tracey says:

againfaster wod #4 again…6:58. 23 seconds faster than last time. Pavement is much faster to run on…burpees not so much.

Russell killed it with his freakish speed! Amazing to watch.

AWESOME for both of you guys!

      Correction. Dennis finished 4th!

Fun event. Loved pacing the 4K run/event thing with Dennis! CFHSV creates some strong bonds and great athletes!

They are going to have the event next year. It is a short drive so I expect more CFHSV to show up and REPRESENT!

      Fun day!

Nice work Kevin and Dennis! Way to represent!

I won’t go through the trouble of typing out the CFFB WOD from Thursday night, but the part I am going to put on here is the 7 sec pr on a 500m row.

    1:37

    For today’s WOD:
    185-190-195-200-200-205-195-195-195-210

  4. Dennis says:

Thanks Tracey for covering my six. Also sweet time on the AF WOD.

Outstanding Job K Lowe. You dug deep and did a magnificent job. Way to blast through those 155lb ground to overheads and the wallball blitz.. It was an honor competing with you.

CFHSV athletes we have a great gym, trainers, and athletes. Way to continually strive for improvement and push each other on a daily basis. I owe any success to you all. See you tomorrow.

Train Hard, Train Smart, Train to Survive! Dennis

PS Jake I was third going in to the last WOD and the heavy overhead, like the stone, knocked me back to finish 4th. I need you on me and heavy overhead. KLowe was killing them like a machine. I have work and need your eye.

  5. Russell says:

Great job guys! wish I could have been there to watch and cheer you on.

On a side note, is anyone interested in a size medium Rouge fitness international T-shirt? I can’t really wear it anymore. I’ts a bad ass shirt:

    135-135-165-165-175-175-165-165-180(1)-175(1)

Great work KLowe and Dennis…way to represent!

I’m still learning about the conjugate method-dynamic day-max effort day-Westside thing. Had to do this one alone in the HoboGym, so no spotter. I don’t know if my thinking is correct or not, but warmed up until the bar started to slow down. 185# was a little slower than warm up weights, 205# was slow, 225# was really slow, 255# is 1RM.
Dropped to 185# across sets with 1:30 rest.

I did the Again Faster WOD #4 in 7:24. Wanted to get in the 6’s… maybe I should do it again like you Tracey and go faster on the burpee!
