I’d like to thank everyone who donated to the Project Lumberjack Fundraiser. While only 38 individuals donated to our fundraiser (3 of whom were not CFHSV members) the total amount we raised as an affiliate was $1525.00, well over the 1000.00 goal we set for ourselves. While the fundraiser is still open, I’m happy with the goal we have reached. If any of you would still like to donate, you can visit this site to do so:
That is awesome. I thought I heard someone say we raised more money than any other affiliate. Not sure if this is true, but either way this showing of support by CFHSV and our friends is an example to be followed. Supporting of service members and their families is a must.
Thanks for posting the tally Russell. There’s no question CF improves quality of life, but it’s somethng else to see we have quality individuals who are members of CFHSV. I’m thankful to be a part of it.
Excellent cause and proud to be a part of CF HSV. I only wish I had not drank so much in Atlanta or I would have participated at Crossfit Peachtree. Oops!
BS – 315 (down a good amount from PR)
SP – 155 (same as last time)
DL – 375 (not making much progress on DL)
CFT 835

Have fun with the total today! That shoulder press should be fun : )

Awesome cause for us to support and be a part of. It was the least we could do for those that risk their lives everyday for our freedom.

After yesterday, I wasn’t expecting much out of the SP today. Happy to finally match my DL pr during a CFT.

Complete 5 rounds for time:
3 Power Snatches @ 75% of 1 RM
6 Ball Slams 40 lbs
9 Ring Dips
*Rest 45 seconds between rounds
6:37 used 185# for the power cleans
I really need to pay more attention to what the WOD is. I did cleans when I should have done snatches.
