Good Sat workout. I can tell from today’s WOD that my cardio needs work.
I don’t post here as often as I’d like, but we have an really great gym and staff here.
Post here more often! In fact to all of the CFHSV “lurkers” please start posting! We want to get to know you and want to see how your Wods are going!
Please have no reservations about posting on the site. It would be awesome if we had a 100% CFHSV athlete posting rate on the site!
I know it’s right in the middle of The Games season…but are there any interested?
We did it last year….had a blast.
There is one in Manchester this year too. It is in September so I think we are shooting for that one.
I wonder if it is going to be held at the Bonnaroo site?
Bonnaroo meets warrior dash…. interesting.
I’m signed up for the noon heat at the one in manchester.
I’ll run it with ya, I’ve always wanted to do one of those!
Going to scale up this workout today, in a matter of sorts:
Run 1 mile, rest as needed. 12 hour AMRAP. Post miles run.
Should be a lovely sunny day for it!
Had me a surprise visit from Murphy at the Delano 12hr run. Two big blisters forced a shoe change at 3hr mark; my watch dies around midday; another nice blister in early afternoon; then finally a real flare of tendonitis in right ankle that 3 Aleve tabs could not dull down. Had plenty of legs and motivation to keep moving, but ignoring the signs was going to lead to real damage.
But no complaints. Ran with some great folks some impressive relay and individual performance. Made about 51-52mi before giving Murphy the victory about 8.5hrs. Feet and ankles somewhat stiff today.
Yikes! nice work. Have you ever read “Fixing your feet” by Vonhof? Great read:
Wanted to thank Russell and Robert for another great cooking workshop last night.
Good food, good recipes, and it is always great to be able to pick their brains with diet questions!
good job Cole:)
I was in the 13’s for all but the last 100, which was 14:06.
Any where from 13:00 – 14:06
