Lindsey wanted me to make sure that you all knew where to meet in the AM. Across from the school, at the track. But, there aren’t any luminaries….she said the set up is different this year.

Hope to see everyone between 7 and 730 for a team CFHSV pic!

  2. Dennis says:

Good luck to everyone on the run. Great cause/event. Give it your all.

Just a reminder, I will host an open gym session today from 12 noon to 1:00PM. If you have any skills, movements, or drills you would like to work on or would just like to come in and do your own WOD, come on in.

This open gym will require you to have an Orange-level wristband or higher to attend.

We would love to see run results if anyone has them! Congrats to all who participated!

    • Lindsey says:

Thanks everyone for your support! It was such an amazing run this morning! Hope more people will want to get involved next time! We are looking in to another one soon!
My unofficial 5k time was 26:16.

      • Kerri says:

Official results still haven’t posted as of 2pm.
It really was a great morning this morning!

I loved being there with CFHSV peeps who really took this matter to heart, and supported Lindsey in running for a cause that is special to her.

Unofficial time (And, I WILL correct this time if the official time is indeed slower-no sandbagging or making up PRs for me….)

30:20-Tough to say if this is a PR since the CC course is so different. For a street race, I think this is a PR. But regardless, I still have a goal of a sub 30 5K, and this goal remains even after today.

    • Rich C. says:

This was my first time running a 5k. Great work and support by everyone! Thanks Lindsey for letting us know about this event. Had alot of fun! My unofficial time was 25:39

  4. Jake Naumcheff says:

    175-185-195-205(x)-205-225PR-235(x)

    Previous PR was 185

  5. Dennis says:

Great work today everybody. Now you definitely have the tools to help your SNATCH training. Please take the Snatch Assistance Training Exercises I taught today to heart and practice them. You all have great Snatch abilities in you.

I would like to personally note:
“The Cost of Coaching, is Priceless!”

Just when you think you are dialed in and solid by training in your garage or on your own in the CFHSV box, a coaches eye can quickly identify areas that need improvement.

Thanks Jake for coaching my Snatch Balances. Thank you Josh for coaching my Clean and Jerks.

Once again great job to all that supported the Liz Hurley Run today. I am very proud of you.

Everyday we will work to achieve elite fitness via CFHSV. Train Hard, Train Smart, Train to Survive!

  6. Justin says:

    115-135-145-155-165-175(x)-175
Previous PR was 155. Great coaching by Dennis as usual.

    • Kerri says:

SO glad I saw you and Ko-Ko in the crowd!! Thanks for coming out to support the great cause!!! I’m hoping that Wendy killed the run and had a great time!!

      • Justin says:

We were looking for you after the race, but we couldn’t find you in the crowd. You’ll have to ask Wendy about the “run”

        • Kerri says:

We were right at the finish line cheering everyone across the line….haha. I will DEF have to hear this story!

    Lori approx 29:20

Thank you Lindsey for doing this! What a great way to honor your Mom!

Yay for team Crossfit!!! Everyone did AWESOME!!!

  12. ErinB says:

Great job today guys! I finished at 25:38 clock time. Felt good; this was a PR by 30 seconds for me. It was great seeing you all out there this morning!

I’m always up for a good 5K or 10K run, especially when it supports a cause that means so much to one of our teammates. I appreciate that all the money raised from this race is spent locally.

  13. katherine berger says:

Great job everyone! And thank you to LINDSEY!!! She will be handling more of these type events for us in the future and we are so excited! She did a terrific job on this so look for more great events in the near future!

  14. Ramsay says:

The person’s team I joined never gave me my packet, so I won’t know the official time cause I didn’t have a number- started in the way back, so anywhere between 36-37 min. Good for me. 🙂 Next year I’ll make sure I get on a team as organized as the CF team- THANKS LINDSEY!
