Too damn hot for FGB. I’ll cut the grass instead.

  2. Kerri says:

Yay! Finally! At least it’s ‘only’ going to be 88 degrees tomorrow…with, thunderstorms…

  3. klowe says:

It’s good to see that Russell has no problem with calling “NO REP” in California also…..

  4. Robert S. says:

Froning and Maddox 1 second apart. Sub 4 on that WOD is STUPID!!!

  5. Katherine Berger says:

Great WODs for the Games this year…I wish Russell was doing them instead of judging them…he woulda killed it!

Hope you all have a great weekend and enjoy watching the live stream!

    • klowe says:

watching Russell DEMO the team WOD is hilarious….those were quite possibly the world’s fasted linked GHD’s.

  6. Katie says:

Was that Russell who tackled Jenni Orr after her heat? Lol

    FGB w 55# girl rx weight… 222 (pr)

Felt pretty shitty this morning but doesn’t everyone during fgb? Can’t wait to watch today’s events. The live feed is sick… Like ESPN… Awesome way to be a part of the event from accross the country.

  7. Aaron says:

    302 as rx’d.

After almost a year with CFHSV, I finally got to expericence FGB this morning. This wod si all it was cracked up to be. Great test of mental fortitude and pain threshold.

The live streaming is freakin rad!

  8. Aaron says:

haha, “Hell on the Hands”…that sounds about right. This would be a nasty wod, but I’d like to try it.

  9. Karen says:

What a HORRIBLE weekend to have to work = no webcast access :'( . I was able to see the first WOD last night but have missed the remainder of the workouts! UGH! The live feed IS AWESOME, though! Twitter is a very distant second. I was going to tether my phone to my computer so I could watch the Games at work but we have too much to do today. Thank goodness for Archives!

  10. Kerri says:

240-rx’ed missed PR from January by 2 REPS!!! I was hoping Carson just didn’t know how to add, but no such luck!

Still as brutal a WOD as it was then!! I felt like I was going to puke at SDLHP in rds 2 and 3. But, glad to be able to do it, and GET DONE with it.

Only thing I can think of for not PR’ing is, time of day and how many blocks I hadn’t had yet. Usually workout in the PM, with 6-8 blocks, and today, I’ve only had 2 blocks to this point.

    Glad for tomorrow’s Rest Day!
Missing the Games b/c I can’t get the live feed for some reason…I’ve tried every troubleshooting thing I can, to no avail. Going to try to give it a whirl on my desktop and see if I have any luck…..

    • Kerri says:

Up and running on the laptop…Yessssss!!!! Here we go Team WODS!

    • Katherine Berger says:

Also remember you can’t PR every time…! Like you said, sometimes it is time of day or what you ate, could be lack of sleep, could be a bad day mentally, or even the order of WODs leading up to the workout. As long as you went as hard as you could, you done good Kerri!

Is that Russell that is WORKING Khalipa on the pistols??? Wow….

    • Katherine Berger says:

      eek! yes!

and did anyone notice the guy holding his foot to do the pistols??? maybe you all do this (its been 900 years since I have been in the gym) but it seems way easier…maybe slower…but nice.

    • Emily D. says:

Russell has hurt some guys on those pistols…..including Mikko!!!!

  13. klowe says:

This Sandbag thing is MY DREAM WOD!!!……yeah, I know I’m not there in Cali and haven’t already done 3 WODS today….but I’d SmOKe this thing!!!

    • Robert S. says:

      I quote…

“Carry heavy shit for time would be my perfect WOD.”
