HSPU’s with parallets – head to mat
Total muscle failure.
I’m exhausted. Rest day on Sunday is perfect.
HSPU were shallow, however I was able to do several of them free standing.
Zone Diet is falling apart over this weekend. Had a bunch of ice cream yesterday, and today when I got home after the WOD I was starving. Had a 2 block snack, but I was still hungry. Decided that some of the blueberry trailmix from Costco (paleo friendly stuff says gluten free, kosher, etc…. on the bag.) would be a good addition. Then I added some more protein. It wasn’t unhealthy stuff today, but it was a few more blocks than normal.

21:33 Medium scaled….wasn’t head to floor / chin over bar, but not super scaled either.
4 hrs. later… 3×5 intervals for Crossfit Endurance. .55/.56/.59 Next time I’ll shoot for .60 for first round and try to increase the distance in those 5 min. windows. I need this type of running, it takes me way out of my comfort zone.
Did this as a “strength workout”. Head to floor HSPU take SOOO long right now, with about 1 min between most reps. L-pullups were using a 4×6 crossbeam support off the veranda.
Finished 21 of each then 7 HSPU in next round at 35 min cutoff. Then went to the beach! 🙂
Head to floor HSPU where fairly strong until around 12,9. I hit some fair muscle failure on the L-Hold pullups after set 15. So from there on they were some odd interpretation of an L-Hold.
