    Garage Gamers….and anyone else.

i’m gonna do a few trial walks with the 120 lb sandbag tomorrow afternoon at the 5K trail hill. Then run 7K or so on the trail at a relaxed pace to see how it goes.

If anyone is interested then email me at kmlowe@gmail.com

Will probably be around 2-3pm rain or shine.

Thanks to everyone who came out last night to Tortora’s, and thank you Joe C for making it all happen! It’s always great to see everyone outside of the gym. Josh really enjoyed it.

    Moving CF gym- 1hr
Getting ‘lost’ on Leeman Ferry, looking for the new place with Tasha & Amy-30m
‘Doing’ the WOD- ~15m; who wanted to do that after the move anyway?!?!?

Coming up with crafty ideas (involving tasteless posters advertising a CF car wash) to put Knott’s Gym out of business….PRICELESS!!

Enjoyed last night Josh….we should have birthday socials more often!!

    • Tasha W says:

Heehee! I think the “coming up with tasteless ideas” and getting lost were my favorite parts of the morning! Glad we at least gave the WOD a try…. Not our best effort, but hey–we did something, right? 😉 Looking forward to working out in the new facility! Glad your b’day celebration was a success, Josh!

Kinda sucks for the Knott’s Gym dude/dudette. Betcha some of their clients wind up in the CFHSV tribe.

    • Kerri says:

      Tribe…I love it!

I know he trains alot of ladies…so yes I think they might be swayed to the dark side. Especially when the shirts come off and they see how we roll. 🙂
The high maintence ladies are my department though!

D Knott will survive I’m sure. Thats the dudes name. He has a good little following.

    • Patrick says:

Yeah, I understand he played D1 college, CFL, XFL and indoor football. Kudos to him, prolly a cool guy…but still bet we pick off some of his clients. They’ll see all the cars and peeps running around in the parking lot, get curious, check the main site, read the “What is Fitness” article, come for the free class…and another CF’er is born.

Found a good meal at Target that is pretty zone balanced.

    Archer Farms Grilled Chicken salad

    3oz Grilled Chicken (3P)
    1oz soft goat cheese (1P)
1/2 cup of blueberry and strawberry (together) (1C)
    4.5 cups lettuce (1C)

The salad dressing that comes with it is pure sugar, so I left it out.

    Total is 4P 2C 3F

Add a couple almonds and another fruit (dehydrated cranberries) and you have a perfectly balanced meal you can pick up an Target for a pretty good price.
