This was difficult. I Still find it funny that I was doing this entire workout at 315 three months ago. My Fran time was also about a minute slower. I think there is such a thing as “too strong”.
Guess I slept too late for a CFHSV “Michael” will have to come up with something in the Basement Hobo Gym.
The above article and accompanying citations are essentially a scientific testament to CrossFit methodology and nutritional recommendations. If you to are a skeptic (or geek, um… like me) check them out.
Sorry it’s pretty “sciencey”, but that’s the nature of original research.
Brad provided much needed motivation for this workout. Thanks. The run was the most difficult part. On the second and third 800 meters, I know I looked liked an old man running a marathon: Knees externally rotated; back killing; moving inches per stride. Knee braces, a tie-dye t-shirt and a sweat band on my forehead were all that was needed to make the image complete.
Did this at the hotel gym. Running on the treadmill for 800m 50 back extensions, lying face down on a bench, and 50 sit-ups. Unhooked untimed, but I pushed straight through and didn’t stop. Running on a treadmill helps to keep the pace. I ran a 7:30 pace for every 800M

Hmmm…old man, knee brace. Thanks.
I sure there’s a 1979 Bjorn Borg-style Fila headband around here somewhere.
Power Snatch 3×7
65-75-85-95-105-115PR-115-125×2,failed 3rd
125×1
130×1 (ugly basically a push press starting from the ground)
130×1 (better) new PR
My goal is a bodyweight snatch. Guess I should put that on the board.
22:26 wasn’t sure if I was supposed to anchor my feet or not on sit-ups. Either was Russell wasnt there to say I couldnt. So I did.
