Complete as many rounds as possible in seven minutes of:
315 pound Deadlift, 7 reps
20 meter Sprint
14 One legged squats
21 Double-unders
20 meter Sprint

Rich Froning Jr. 5 rounds + 1 double-under, Austin Malleolo 5 rounds + 1 double-under, Annie Thorisdottir 5 rounds + 7 squats (205lb deadlift). Post rounds completed to comments.

    As rx’d 2 rounds + 14 DU. Amazing to think Annie did twice as much! Beast. Kept DU to single-double to improve time (and decrease frustration!)

    Great Westside Barbell class! Thanks Russell! Really pinpointed deficiencies. Look forward to incorporating some of the movements into workouts and working on the accessory movements. I REALLY need to work on strengthening my posterior chain.

      Great job Karen!! You must’ve BLOWN through the DLs and the Pistols!! Really puts into perspective once you do the WOD yourself, as to how elite those top notch CF’ers are, huh?

      Thanks, Kerri! The DL and pistols were pretty solid (balance being my main issue with pistols). The single-double DU were a little slower but more consistent. I think I got 12 or more in a row in the 2nd round.

      I am so in AWE of what the competitors accomplished and how strong they are! Truly inspiring and motivational!

    Glad were getting to test ourselves with the Games wods, but O-M-G!

    Great Westside clinic too. But really?? More weakenesses I need to work on! 🙂 All good stuff.

    Well, with 12’ish people and 3 tires, the “for time” part didn’t work out so well, but it was a good workout and a fun one to end on, for my time with Crossfit Slayer!

    Can’t say that I’m looking forward to humidity (especially when 108 today seemed cool and pleasant), but definitely looking forward to getting home!

    3+1 Deadlift
    -double unders were an abomination. I’d like to use this one as a benchmark since DU’s, pistons, and DL form are all crap for me.

    Westside Barbell class was awesome. Oh good lawd do I have an extremely inflexible and weak posterior chain! That was a true humbling experience! I love it….now time to build and correct.

    Great job Jake. I now go into WODS hoping I can just hang with Jake’s time. So far this week….I’m 0 for 3.
