Snatch balance reminded me how awful I am at getting low in a squat like I’m supposed to.
Other than that, really tough WOD, although it doesn’t look that way.
By the end, my wrists were killing me!!
Scaled snatch balance in first round and just grabbed girl bar, b/c I knew after one attempt I couldn’t do 65#. Prob could’ve done more than 35#, but just went with it, to get the WOD going.
This was pretty rough. Shoulders were tired from yesterday, but I’ve also found that anything that forces me to put a bar high on my shoulders is my CrossFit achillies heel. The weight of the bar pushing into my Lats feels like someone is stabbing me…some kind of nerve damage from where heavy rucksacks and kits used to hang off of my shoulder for hours at a time. I struggled to get the Snatch balance one at a time, but by the end I was acutally doing all seven in a row. Guess I need to do more of these and maybe the pain will go away.
