I have no idea what the overall standings are, but jake and I both won our heats in the sandbag deadlift event. It was raining when we got here, then it started snowing, so conditions are less that ideal. Kevin has the sandbag event in an hour, and robert, jake, and I start the trail run in two hours.
Checkin in. Fun day of events but brutal cold, wet, and just over all shitty.
I scored 11th place in the trail which involved falling into the river (up to my neck) with 3K left to run. That sucked by I was pleased with the finish.
WB/KBS just sucked! No other way to explain it. It was sleeting (intensely) for 10 of the 15 minutes of agony. Calves of all things cramped post WOD to the point of laying on the ground in agony and not being able to walk for about 20 minutes. Justin said I got 5th…..so I guess I did. Hoping for better but I’ll take it.
Sandbag was just a friggin’ grind. Hillclimb and cleans not bad at all. descending the hill with the bag was HORRIBLE! My DL’s were disappointing. I had nothin’ left in the legs and could not link DL’s. Did all 20 as singles and all with horrid form. I have no clue where I finished on that one…but i’m sure it is not good.
Justin, Jake, Robert and Tony were rockin’ it and representing CFHSV very well and I believe are all top 20%. -special shout to Justin that did the Sandbag event in 2:20 which no-one even came close to matching. He demolished that WOD!
Way to go, guys! Y’all are doing great! Those are some tremendous weather conditions to contend with! Dry off and get warm tonight and get ready to hit it hard tomorrow!

Drilling this weekend…have fun!
The day is over. Looks like Justin finished 1st and Jake 3rd on the sandbag DL event. Not sure where I finished. Slow event for me, DL was slow.
Not sure which was 14th and which was 15th, but Justin and Jake were in those spots on the run. I was 32nd. I actually felt my best on the run.
If I find out about KLowe I will let ya’ll know.

Wanted to keep going up, but back started rounding in reps 4 and 5, so I just stayed at 285 working on form.
Keep it up guys. Represent!
Kevin was 11th on the run and 5th on the kb/wb. Places weren’t posted, but I think he was top 10 on the sandbag/dl event.
Jake was 14th, and I was 15th on the run. I was 5th on the kb/wb this morning.
It is crazy cold, and the trail run involved a thigh deep creek crossing.

Also, thanks to Kevin and Jake for resetting my bar after it was rolling down the hill and bashing my shins.
