    175 pounds.

    this is 15 pounds under PR.

    I struggled with 185 for about 10 minutes more after the buzzer and was getting under it very easily, just not catching in the right position and unable to get out of the hole. I think my OHS must need some work. very frustrating. thanks to Naveen and Jada for helping me try to figure out what was wrong.

    And the winners are,

    Male 1st place goes to Robert Simmons, who was nearly tied by Tommy Bergin. Tommy had great results from the diet, and did very well for owning a pizza place full of delicious food, but when we considered all categories, Robert came out with a slight lead. Good job to both of you.

    Women’s 1st place goes to Kerri Wellendorf, with Linda Pope in close second.

    1st place winners will split the pot of buy-in cash, and second place will both receive our newest t-shirt which will be in stock next week!

    Great job to everyone who participated! I was very impressed with all your motivation and results and I’ve been doing this stuff for a while.

      Thanks guys!! And better yet, forget the recipes Robert, I’d like to hire you as my personal chef!! Think your wife would hire you out?? =o)
      The Zone meeting was great yesterday!! Good to hear about both successes and failures…Much like the CrossFit family, just helps you realize that you’re not in it alone!!
      Looking forward to hearing more great stories for the next 30 day challenge!!

    Bergunder warmup with PVC pipe
    Snatch Warmup:
    5 @ 45lbs
    3 @ 65lbs
    2 @ 75lbs
    2 @ 95lbs
    Workout: 10 minute clock started
    1 @ 105lbs (9.5min)
    1 @ 115lbs (6.0min)
    1 @ 125lbs (3.0min)
    1 @ 130lbs (0.5min) (pr)

    I like the 5,3,2,2 warm up before single rep max. Did a lot with Burgunder warmup and drop snatches from the back to get the hip flexers warmed up.

    Now I know where my max snatch is.

    Ate at Tortora’s with the family tonight. I can’t say enough about the pizza and Joe C’s service. Top shelf! (We will make it out to Tommy’s place sometime in the next month or so).
