Walking Lunge, 50 steps
50 Knees to elbows
50 Push press, 45 pounds
50 Back extensions
50 Wall ball shots, 20 pound ball
50 Burpees
50 Double unders

    I’m going to buy a pair of lifting shoes and was wanting the scoop on the best one to purchase. I have been looking at the AF Talon and the Pendlay. Any suggestion or advice is welcome.

    Or if the Reebok new shoe is worth waiting for I will just wait for it.

      Hello Eric, I feel either of the shoes you have suggested are fine. Rogue and Nike make a nice shoe as well. Adidas makes a nice shoe and Adidas is the parent company of Reebok. Actually you cannot even buy Reebok stock you have to buy Adidas. Not sure that helps, but I honestly think any of them serve the purpose for CrossFit. If I had to do it all over again I think I would buy the lightest pair. Just my opinion and i think it is just awesome you want a pair. Wish more CrossFitters had a pair.

      The Pendlay shoe runs a bit small. They are Do-Win’s imported for Pendlay. Same with the Rogue and VS shoe, which are older version of a Do-Win. Don’t know about the AF.

      I don’t care much for the Pendlay shoes and they received some poor reviews regarding their quality from sites like http://buyweightliftingshoes.com and several other forums. Adidas, Rogue and Nike make the best shoes out there right now.

    Great coaching, Dennis. Ugh, just getting over a stomach bug I had this week. I knew I wasn’t fully hydrated, but it hit me mid-WOD. I made it through 11 wall balls and started seeing stars. Had to stop. 🙁 Can’t remember the last time I had to do that and it sucked. Great work out of everyone at 4:00 today!

    38:36-rx’ed. 8+ min above my last time.
    I don’t think the KTE last time were all legit. May have still had some today that were questionable, but as time showed, I definitely slowed down.
    Great 1600 class….it was near impossible to enter the Pain Cave and Embrace the Suck!!! Several times I just wanted to quit. Way to keep pushing, everyone!! It was a hot grinder today!

    29:34 as rx’d 1 min. Off my PR. I’ve done this in milder weather and it truly sucks in 90+ degree heat. Scott and I also had a big cheat night (last night)… it was not a helpful carb load 🙂 great intensity by everyone at 4:00.

    Hate to miss this filthy wod! Spent time with the folks and relaxed. Intend on making this one up during open gym. Just finished the 800m 30 C&J @95# 800m at home: 13:53. Running is not my friend! Done.

    36:00 scaled. 10 DU then 100 single unders. Mentally broke on the back extensions, long pity party after that.

    31:54, over 3min off pr. It was HOT today. Good work from the guys from Legune visiting. Those Marines are strong. Wall ball and burpees destroyed me today. I didn’t know our floor was that comfortable. I wanted to lay there and close my eyes at the bottom of the burpee every time. Great work 1600!

    By far the toughest workout I’ve done that I can remember. 36:52, scaled “on the fly” to 25 WB @ 10 lbs, 25 burpees, 25 double unders, the rest as RXed though some of my KTE were definitely questionable. Huge PR for me too, last time scaled to 30 and had to sub the KTE. Awesome coaching Dennis, thanks! Great job 5 pm
