This picture captures what I don’t like to see on the Power Snatch, or any of the Oly lifts. The arm is bent before the hip has opened fully. Basically she is “pulling the bar” instead of “jumping with the bar”. Cool picture though.
WOD with Larry at his house. Very fun getting to WO together out of the gym. It was HOT and this was pretty horrible. 50/50 mental vs physical. Absolutely did not want to push into round 6. Hate the even numbered WOD’s!
Funny how a little thing like even vs odd numbered WODS makes a difference…but in my simple mind…it does.
Props to Larry for making 5 and 6 his fastest rounds!
This WOD sucked. Jumping a foot in the air after each burpee added at least 2 or 3 minutes to the time and was a mental grind. I am glad this is over. My body was still sweating and hour after. I paid dearly for my eating cheat days this weekend.

As said before…. this one pretty much sucked. Also, during warmups, I learned that I jump rope like someone who has been on a weeklong douche canoe float trip. Something else I will have to work to improve.

24:25… I really didn’t like this one.
26:08 – What we did at the 3:00 class was did our burpees underneath the rings, and set their height to 1 foot above our reach. Definitley made the burpees more challenging.
Slapping the tape above the garage door added an element of suck. Kevin lapped me during the burpees on my round 4. He is fast. I think I am still sweating from the workout.

Did this at 11pm after a day of driving to Nashville with Daniel, taking the kids to Dave and Busters, then driving home.
I’m just proud of myself for actually working out tonight instead of just going to bed.

28.44. this one sucked for me doing the workout by myself i didn;t push myself as much as i should have. craig stop eating pizza on the weekend and your times will get better. lol
