    Oh, this is great! We’re going to get a bunch of “military medical professionals” together at USUHS to decide the effectiveness of CrossFit. I spent 10 years around military medical professionals. Hell! I was a military medical professional. This is NOT the group of eggheads we need deciding the efficacy and safety of CrossFit. These goobs won’t know their snatch from their butt hole. CrossFit is in the realm of the Strength and Conditioning guys, kinesiologist and exercise physiologist. I can predict the outcome. The Rhabdo. issue will take center stage and wrap the medics around the axle because that will be the only aspect of CrossFit they’ll understand. They won’t know dick about Oly lifting, barbell training, high intensity v. LSD, risk v. benefits in training, scaling, substituting… or any of the myriad of daily decision a CrossFit trainer makes to safely coach pediatric to geriatric.
    Nope! I know this crowd.
    It’ll be all about the Rhabdo, nothing else will matter.
    For the sake of our military’s combat effectiveness, I hope I’m wrong.

    Great Sunday WOD today. Perfect blend of hard and fast.
    I came in early to test it. As Rxd = 9:17 Going for 8s but last set up push-ups were broken.

    We will go over some double-under practice as well today and a couple of sprint and POSE drills as well as Burgener warm-up with PVC and then the bar.
    Bring in your jump ropes if you have them. It is always nice to buy and have a favorite jump rope so you can practice at home and CFHSV.

    I wanted to thank Dennis and Tracey for an awesome class yesterday!!!!!!! Thanks for pushing me through such a miserable WOD.

    And big thanks to all the all who stood around to scream at me my last round of front squats 🙂

    My abs hate me today after those GHDs!!

    Ready for Fran tomorrow….last time she made me meet pukie.
