Surprised I was sub 20 given the number of cookies I ate after lunch. Wanted to barf after round 1.
Rope climbs and ring dips were rough in the last 2 rounds.
Left leg pistol squats: 3×10
Press 3×5: 140-140-140
Weighted Pull Ups 3×5: 25-45-45
I’m starting to like this Dave Tate character more and more.
Louie Simmons… not so sure. That whole ultra wide squats making a narrower stance squat stronger just doesn’t make sense to me. Unless your going to squat equipped out of a monolift. Try one, take that ultrawide stance and see if you can safely walk it out of the rack. From the little bit I’ve been able to learn about Westside Barbell and Louie Simmons, his input to the CrossFit community should be interesting. But, I’ll reserve further opinion until I’ve heard more at what he has to say.
*only 3 ascents up/down rope(scaled remaining reps with pullups after hitting the wall (bad cold/virus – no energy).
Total muscle failure on the last rope climb as soon as I reached the top. This WOD was deceivingly terrible.

-reached total body muscle failure about the 3rd ascent in round 3. Was genuinely afraid that I was going to fall off the ropes.
-Those things have to be higher than 15′ also.
