22:37 as rx’ed…..Was a pretty busy 4pm class today!!
Felt sluggish myself, and certainly can’t blame it on pregnancy though…=o)
Back to journaling on The Zone diet today. I see how much I slack off when I’m not journaling, so, want to buckle back down and benefit the most in the gym by my how I’m eating outside the gym….
Toughest time of year to do it….Darn College Football!!
Hope the CF Boot Camp goes great tomorrow!! I’ll continue trying to spread the word to those that I know can make it during that time of the day (which aren’t many…don’t know many girls that aren’t working =o))
Rock Climbing with Daniel today.
Katherine…I feel your pain today. I have been nauseated all day! I hope I didn’t catch the “pregnancy bug” that’s going around the gym.
I’ll be at Crossfit Bootcamp tomorrow and have invited a few girls to come with me.
21:15, was stronger than previous Michaels with the run. Usually run like an old man on the last two runs.
This WOD is named after Navy LT Mike McGreevy, a sailor I served closely with for several months in Africa in 2003. He was my ju-jitsu sparring partner. He was a great man and true warrior. I am honored to have known him. RIP, Mike.
Raced the Xterra Trail Run, 9.3 mi this morning. Finished 1:17:46, 12th OA and 2nd in my AG. Typical Xterra – gnarly, technical, lots of climbing and a total blast.
3+ hours later, still contimplating staying on the coach and drinking beer, but the Saints game wasn’t on Fox and I’ve found I recover better (i.e, no ice bath) after a tough run by doing the WOD later in the day, so….
First run in a long while, no significant pains from the slowly healing injuries, but did not push it at all. Really just a jog while trying to maintain something Pose-esque. Glad to be off that damn rower.
Did this one at home today before going to work. I TOTALLY screwed up my timer so all I know is I finished around 20 minutes. I worked on POSE during the runs and found the more tired I got, the more I understood the “letting gravity work” part. I’m really enthused to work more on POSE! Wait…am I actually positive about running??
I subbed “Supermans” for back extensions. Need an ab-mat at my house!
20:38 – felt better today than I have in days. Being back on schedule has helped.
Great job Amy & Tracey on your times – I am sure that the POSE seminar has helped to improve running times. I believe that is where I should have gone faster.
Aaron, I’m not going to be able to make the running practice at HHS. I’m taking my son to the HCMS-HMS football game at 4:30. (Go Bulls!) I didn’t realize the game was that early.
Tracey & Karen – I bagged the track workout tonight and went to the 530 class instead. I plan to do track tomorrow at 530 at Huntsville High, if y’all are interested.
Aaron and Tracey, I have to work Wed and Thurs 9am to 9pm so I’m out on running. I also work next Tues so I’ll be out then too. I am off Wed and Thurs so if the running day changes, let me know.
