I started crossfit on June 15, 2010. I weighed 270lbs, my doctor had just informed me that I was diabetic and I had high cholesterol and high blood pressure(don’t remember the exact numbers). I also couldn’t go up stairs without breathing hard, couldn’t do a pull-up if my life depended on it. As of February 25, 2011, I weigh 235lbs my fasting blood sugar is well below normal(dropping over 30 points) and my cholesterol and blood pressure has come down to normal levels. I have 9 pull-ups and I have been able to complete some WOD’s as RXed.( Fran=10:14). Crossfit has not just made me feel better about myself, it has changed and saved my life.
