I find it funny that a CF WOD has the ability to make someone look as though they are very intoxicated. It looks like Josh has had wayyy too much to drink and is trying to figure out how he found his way to the sidewalk.
I have a love-hate relationship with this new intensity scaling push. I love that it is improving my fitness, but I hate that once I finally peeled myself off the floor this morning I still had to sit in my truck for about 10 minutes with the air on high before I was capable of driving. Good WOD. I just sucked at it. 18:26 as Rx except 24 pushups in round 2 and 15 in round 3. My pushups still need lots of work.

Kept waiting for an “April Fool’s Day” to come out of Russell’s mouth when WOD was written on the board. Never happened, hence the impending stroke like feeling I had after completion.
Hey Team.
This coming Saturday Stephen Hand will be in town to WOD with us. We plan on Wodding with the 9:00am class and taking a 1-2 hour rest. Then to mix things up a bit we are planning an uphill bushwhack run to Monte Sano State Park. 1-2 hour event depending on start position (to be determined)–but likely at the base of the northern side of the Bankhead Forrest (think highway 72 side). Follow no trails and fastest to the top wins.
The woods are simply beautiful right now with all of the wildflowers blooming and leaves coming out. Climbing up slopes and over rocks will be challenging and fun.
Might want to wear running pants and long sleeves if you are poison ivy sensitive becuase the leaves are just now coming out (when they are most potent).
Start time around 11:00am.
If you are interested then let me know. It will be fun and a change of pace.
put 40 rounds through the 45 and 50 rounds through the new 380. I like the new one a lot. Worked on speed at 5, 10, and 20 meters. My groupings were pretty much what they always are, good enough, but I was really surprised that after shooting only twice in the last 2 years, my speed and accuracy was better than when I used to shoot every week in the military. I think CF has a lot to do with this surprisingly. I’ve heard it before and I believe it now.
