All cleans in singles, all push jerks unbroken. Cleans, especially from the hang, could use a lot of work.
I did this one at 135 last july, and it took me 16:32.
8:51 (21 secs off PR)
-Didn’t think this one through at all. Last time I dropped the DL’s on rep 11, cleans on rep 8 which are the logical resting spots. Dumbness
-Grip strength was also shot.
frustrating day. I love this WOD and should have improved significantly over last time.
Congrats to Cole for crushing this one today and taking the leader spot on the big board!
21:07 as rx’d. PR by 24:44. That is not a type-o. The only other time I did this one was in April 2009 @ 105lbs (dropped to 85lbs on last round) and it took 45:51.
I thought I’d be a lot better at this one. The cleans felt alot heavier than they should have. I felt like I was about to rip my thumbnail off with the hook grip too. I need a rest day… the wods this week have kicked my ass.
Good job. The cleans definitley messed my head up… they’re my favorite lift too, but that 155 felt more like 225 yesterday. It’s making me rethink my idea on what my favorite lift is.
Brad, I was trying to cheer you on, I just didn’t have the breath to do so!! If I ever found my breath in the entire 21 minutes, I needed it ALL to stay standing on my feet!!

First time doing DT, should have been sub 10 but paced a little too much from the beginning. Josh was riding my tail on the last few rounds making sure I stood ALL THE WAY UP on my cleans, I need to break some bad habits and soon
First time doing this WOD. Probably should have scaled a little more. DL and PJ were fine, but I missed about 4 cleans.
Cole destroyed this one today!
I guess I’m the first person from the lunch class to sign up for the 5k race for Gabby. I’m looking forward to it. Looks like lots of folks from CFHSV will be there.

Only my second time doing it, and last time(07/23/09), I did 75#, and my time was 18:33
Brutal, Murder, Death of a WOD!! My sternum and thighs are going to be majorly bruised tomorrow.
In all the discombobulation, I think I left my journal in the floor at the gym. Can someone grab it for me, and stash it in the office? Thanks!!
Strategy for me: Instead of fighting the descent on the PJs, I dropped the weight (in the last rounds is when I finally figured it out) to the floor, power cleaned it and then did the PJ.
And, even after I was beat, I did this some with the HPC. Would clean it, drop it to the floor, dead lift it and then do the HPC. Controlling the descent on this from my shoulders (well, mostly sternum) back down to my thighs was beating the CRAP out my legs.

13:46 @ 125
DL unbroken, cleans all sets of 5 then 4, push jerk unbroken until last round.
I could have gone up, but still nursing sore left shoulder.
Shout out to Mandee that did it Rx! great job!
11:29 @ 115
Wish I had of went a bit heavier.

Way to go Mandee! You are awesome!
18:43 scaled
at first w/ #100 (need to work on the cleans!)
then down to #85 and back up to #95
15:38 at 135 lbs.
Like Larry nursing a sore elbow and 135 felt heavy at times on the cleans for some reason. Need to work on my form as usual.
Nice job Mandee!
Did this one in the HoboGym.
23:08 scaled 135#
5 min improvement from 4/15/09
At this rate in another 2-3 yrs I’ll catch Craig.

was going to do this but just wasn’t feeling good enough. Went home directly afterward and slept for an hour. Thanks Katherine for babysitting!
I need to do this workout soon.
1st time attempting this one. 13:30, pretty horrible overall. Cleans were the most demoralizing, odd since they are my favorite lift.

10:37 as rx pr by almost three minutes. Should have been sub ten just wussed out in the end

This one really kicked the crap out of me. My grip needs some work, as well as my cleans.
Great Job this morning Mandee!

17:41 at 95lbs for 2 rounds, 85 for last 3 rounds.
Last time we did this I did 75lbs and got around 17:00 also.
Brutal!
