39 Kipping Pullups 5 rep PR

Matt smoked the max pullups this morning, awesome work.

130#… Damn, Tye. Been eating your Wheaties?7yu2

      • Patrick says:

        I’ve gotten a 115# 1RM Wt. Pull Up x3 WODs. I’m stuck.
        Max kipping: 44

        • Tye says:

I promise I’m not a stalker, but I could of sworn you got 117.5 back in November. No idea why I think I remember that, but just thought I’d throw it out there.

          • Patrick says:

Damn, your right. Forget about putting on the extra 2.5 just to beat the old PR. Crap, not stuck… regressing. Just didn’t feel it today.

90-95-100-110-115-100-100 tied pr from long ago

41 kipping pullups which is a pr

Crossfit total at crossfit dominion this morning
25 off PR. Weird numbers because they had some kilo metal plates.

    27.5# / 17reps

    Both a PR today.

From 11/3/2010 I had (20#) and (8 reps). So I am slowly getting stronger. Considering I did my first pull-up EVER in Sept 2010.

  10. Penelope says:

40#, 23 KPU; Fun change to workout with the 7am class today!

  11. Matthew says:

    75-90-90-90(x)-90(x)-65 ; Kipping pull-ups- 50 pr by 19 reps (previous 31 reps)

Weighted Pull-ups: The goal was to hit 90 across the board. That didn’t happen. It’s been a while since i’ve hit a pr for weighted pull-ups.

Kipping Pull-Ups: Far exceeded my expectations of 31. I still feel like I have a lot of room for improvement here. It took about 15 reps to get into a rhythm and quit butterfly before i felt like i had to. Still feel like I’m doing negatives on the down portion. I’m going to set a goal of 75 by the end of summer. I think that it’s feasible to hit somewhere in this neighborhood. Overall, great day!

Tye crushed the weighted pull-ups. Strong Work by whole 6 A.M. class this morning!

  12. Josh Kennedy says:

Had an early meeting at work, so went to the 5:30pm class. 55# and 21 pullups, first time I’ve tried it. Some folks were nailing the pullups at the end tonight!

  13. KLowe says:

145 – skipped on max pullups to do the Again Faster 14 WOD. Got 17 reps into the round of 11. (5 reps away from 12 rounds which was my goal….crap)

One of those “looks easy on paper wods”. I just need to accept that pain is GOING to be a part of every again faster wod and suck it up. My brain was my enemy tonight.

can’t wait to get back to a consistent schedule. Things have been all jacked up for the last couple of months and I hate it.

big thanks to Jake for sticking around to yell at me.
