Justin Crushed this one at 7AM. Good job to the morning classes, and thanks for being patient with us while we dealt with every affiliates least favorite workout for running a class through.

I’m out of town for the rest of the weekend so I’ll see you guys when I get back!

  2. Justin says:

    15:27 as rx’d
    PR by almost 4 minutes
    Bodyweight at 175
    260 deadlift, 175 bench, 135 clean

  3. Craig Herr says:

    23:46 as rx’d
    PR by almost 6 minutes
    270 deadlift, 180 bench, 135 clean

*It was fun watching Justin crush this one. It was made for him.

Great pic guys but something seems weird? Russell has his shirt off and Kevin has his on?

    • Robert S. says:

Somewhere a rip in the fabric of time & space has occured due to this fact. I think the Large Hadron Collider formed a blackhole at the exact moment Kevin started this workout with a shirt on as well.

      it was 22 degrees that day. I have a 32 degree rule ; )

bodyweight is 145, but I calculated off of 150.

    225 dl, 150 bp, 115 clean

Really tried to work on keeping everything right on the DL. The 225 # DL was not a high point for me at the garage games, but today felt much better.

Spent waaaay to much time on missed bench press reps. Though I’d be a super meat head and plow through them all. Even when it became quite apparent that I couldn’t do them unbroken….like an idiot, I still tried to.
Self inflicted stupidity = self inflicted frustration.

I know what I need to work on and have a game plan for next time. With all that being said…..I still would have not came close to matching Justin’s time! He crushed it!

Worked with a group of 3 all using different weights for DL and Bench, so spent alot of time changing plates. Using the cambered (aka. bent) bars for deadlifts was interesting. It wants to twist out of your hands if you don’t grab it correctly, good for grip strength work.

      Crap. Just realized I use 5’s and 2’s not 10’s and 2’s.
So, only 150# on the Bench Press.
      I’m a CrossFit Mathtard.

  9. Katie says:

    Completed 10’s, 9’s and 8’s at 155/75/85
By the nature of the WOD there was a lot of time waiting and changing plates, so could have completed, but still got a great workout.

through the round of 5 at the 30 minute cut off…started with 185/135/115, upped to 215 on the deadlift after the first two rounds, & really should have upped the clean to 135…it felt light, but we were changing out all the other bars every time for different folks, & was just not willing to lose that time. Absolutely suck at the bench. Not even close to the Rx percentages, since i’m right at 200#, but give me 4 more months!!
