11:56 with 75# Looking at time, I probably should have done a heavier weight but was concerned with my form on the HPCs. It was still a TOUGH workout and I pushed myself pretty hard to get under 12 min.
25 yards of burpee broadjump
25 yards of bear crawl back to start
20 pushpress with sandbag
Me, Armin, Paul, Rhonda
I finished six complete rounds. I filled my sandbag completely up ~65#. Doing this on the beach in the sand is tough. I now know why I don’t see any bears on the beach.

It was extremely hard to do this workout day after Filthy 50. I am glad Clint was doing it with me and pushed me to go as hard as possible. Thanks!!!
Had to do this one with no collars for the weight. I think this was more of an annoyance than a time killer, since I needed the rest. Dead lift felt great. Power Clean not so good. Push Jerk so so. I was able to link a lot of the exercises together which is an improvement from last time.
For those of you who did this today after filthy fifty yesterday…..you rock! Just try not to die in your sleep tonight…….
5 rounds for time: 31:00
15 Pull ups
30 Push ups
45 Sit ups
Vary the type of pull up and push up each round.
Pull ups: 1. Kipping 2. Towel 3. Lever 4. L 5. Navy SEAL
Push ups: 1. Wide 2. Narrow 3. Stagger Hand 4. On-Off Block 5. Regular
Sit ups all anchored. First 3 rounds hand behind head, last 2 swing arm.
This was a low intensity active recovery day for me, thus the 30+ min.
I can’t recall where the “Navy SEAL” pull up variant came from, probably just a name someone made up. Or, maybe not…
Jump up and grab the bar right palm away (supinated), left palm toward (pronated), turn your body 90 degrees toward the right. Pull left shoulder to the bar. These are good on a tree branch or thick pipe that you can’t grip using the standard pull up or chin up grip.
18:27 @65….did first DL w/ 75lb, but the HPC’s weren’t pretty. I went back down to 65lb.
Felt EASY for DL and PJ, but the technique for HPC is still in progress. Felt great to be back to CROSSFIT class.
Russell was a baby not enough, you had to get a puppy to potty train too!!! 🙂

First time doing DT’s. The workout was challenging especially after doing the “Filthy Stinkin 50”. I am in desperate need of some sleep.

I needed a good mental day of CrossFit where I didn’t feel like it was completely kicking my butt and I couldn’t recover. It has been that way for two weeks now. It was a good weight that challenged me enough, but also let me work at a good hard pace and keep my form on all lifts. Definitely a sweatfest!

Larry…you guys are killing it on the beach! Makes the post WOD beers all that much tastier doesn’t it?
22:02 @135. This was humbling for me today. It kicked my ass and was much tougher for me than last time I did it.

Failing grip on the HPC and push jerks were just really hard.
Patrick, what is a Navy SEAL pull-up?
Damn Kevin, I guess you broke that 10 minute mark no problem.

HPC’s beat me up… literally… bruises on my collerbone and thighs.
24:50 @135lbs. Beat my last time almost 15 minutes.
13:27 as rx’d (pr) by 4 minutes. Could have been better if I would have been there mentally today
Brad awesome

I thought Burpees in the F50 were OF THE DEVIL?!?!?!
No, HPC’s in 5 rounds for time….OF THE DEVIL!!! They were nearly the death of me!
Great workout, talk about a sweatfest!!!!
Kudos to Kat for time, and Mandee for the poundage…I would’ve DIED!!
