    On the minute:

    Complete 5 burpees and perform max rep 135 lbs thrusters on the minute.

    The goal is to complete 100 total thrusters.

    *At the beginning of every minute perform 5 burpees, for the rest of the minute perform as many thrusters as you can during that minute. At the beginning of the next minute perform 5 burpees and then max rep thrusters and so on until you reach 100 total thrusters.

    Started at a decent pace and was doing ok until about 8 min in. At 4895′ elevation it felt like I was doing this with a plastic bag on my head. Around 11 or 12 min. I added 30 seconds to the minute to try and control my breathing. At 68 thrusters I was starting to miss rounds of burpees. After that I just did thrusters in sets of 5 to finish. Used 135# and finished around 40 min. This was by far the hardest WOD I have ever done.

      I finally finished all of my (current) landscaping projects. Which hopefully means I’ll be back in the gym this coming Monday. Hopeful at least.

      Hate that I missed the dodgeballs today. I’m solo at work today so no way I could leave early to play….which sucks! b/c it’s so much fun.

    Hate to miss Burpee Dodgeball today! I have a baby shower to attend, or else I’d be all over it even though this is technically my rest day. Last time this WOD came up, I was considering skipping since my mom was enticing me with a homecooked meal. Jake saw my conflict on FB and told me I HAD to be there because it was by far, the most fun CF workout ever. He did not lie. We had a blast and it was a really good workout. I encourage you guys to go if you’re “on the fence” today. The more on each team, the better the action and you’ll laugh your way through your fitness today, I guarantee it!

    Made a gimp variant of Barry’s Dimes and Quarters WOD.
    Just loaded one bar with 135# and did all the barbell lifts at the same weight.

    10 DL
    25 WB 20#
    200m run
    10 Power Cleans
    25 KB swings 1.5pd
    200m run
    10 Push Press
    25 Box Jumps 20″
    200m run
    10 Front Squat
    25 Pull Ups
    200m run
    10 Back Squat
    25 Burpees

    Bonked again. Somewhere about 15-20 min before the Front Squats I started to gray out. Had to cool off awhile before I could finish the WOD.
    I think it’s because I spend almost all my time in the AC that I still haven’t acclimated to the heat. Ah hell, we’ve all got issues. But 2 Bonks in a row is frustrating.
