    take the time to watch this video… this weekend if you must. If you get anything from it, listen to Taubes using that mysterious and rare thing he calls “science”…

    Ran 1 mile…than i began to hear Russell tell me that intensity makes you lean , not just running. SO i decided to do 1 round of CINDY and .50 mile, for as many rounds as possible in 30 min.
    6 rounds plus .50 mile…the last half mile i did in 4:15.
    it keeps me from getting too ADD, during gym workouts!!!

    Very good!!! I already knew all that. LOL
    Carbs are like crack, once you start eating them its hard to stop.
    Eating clean isn’t cheap!!!! where a box of Little Debbies Is like less than $2.00.
    I can spend a fortune on lean proteins, veggies, and fruits for a few days worth.
    ITS SAD, BUT VERY TRUE.

    Actually you can get away for less. But eating clean is not cheap, but if you shop you can find budget fruits and vegatables. I live off of watermelon since its in season about 7 bucks can get you a farmers market melon at my block count I can go through about 1 to 2. Then I destroy lots of turkey maybe 4 pounds a week. Also just scoop up the giant bags of broccoli etc and your good. I think I have gotten it down to 50-60 dollars a week. oh and 4 dozen eggs forgot that. If you eat out every day then that is way expensive so its not all bad.

    CostCo is Paleo’s best friend!

    Organic frozen veggies (for example 8lbs of broccoli for 5-6 bucks) and can keep in freezer so they don’t spoil.

    Bags of frozen shrimp (8 bucks for 6lbs). etc, etc.

    I personally buy the huge center round peices of meat and slice them into steaks. Freeze them. I have it down to about 1.00 a steak. Not bad.

    CostCo also has a Paleo person on staff….i swear by it. They have these fruit and nut bars….(cant remember the name)…but they specifically spell out on the label. No dairy, no gluten, no soy, no refined sugar)……and they are damn tasty.

    bottom line. Paleo –hearts– CostCo

    Just finished “Pose Method of Running” Dr Romanov’s book and watched the DVD. The CrossFit Endurance cert videos actually do a better job of explaining the principle behind the method than Dr Romanov’s book. Now I’m Pose book-smart…just need to move from thought to action.

    forgot today was a rest day and went in. Big mistake Russell talked me into doing death by tabata. With 225 lb deadlift and burpees 8 intervals of each. I think I did 53 deadlifts then 58 burpees. Russell thought it looked so fun he did it himself

    Rest Day for me yesterday….. And, thank goodness it was! After watching the ‘Science of Obesity’, and working on perfecting The Zone, I’m dreaming in ‘Blocks’…seriously… Heaven help me!!
    Traveling today for the weekend…Curious to actually count how many blocks I was able to fit into a one gallon ziploc bag in my backpack….I’m pretty sure I could at least eat fully, all 13 blocks for at least a day. =o) Up Up and Away!!!

    I’d suggest going to your local farmer’s markets to get your produce everything is extremely fresh and decently priced.
