Looking STRONG, Karen! Really great pic. Rest day for me, whoop whoop. I need it–the last three days have put a HURTIN’ on my quads. Happy Friday Eve, everyone!

With McGhee yesterday and soccer last night my legs weren’t feeling all that great. Ring dips were tough after all the pushups yesterday. Still probably should have gone 10-20lbs higher on the squats.
Yesterday wound up being a rest day when I couldn’t get out of meetings in time, so today I made up…they did 10 * 200m run…I rested 2 min between each, total time 25:22, so subtract 18:00 resting and that averages 44s each for the 200’s…
we’re doing murph saturday…it’ll be my first time…pray… 😉
ring dips were horribly slow. Not very happy with the time, but the Back Squats felt good.
Aaron,
Are you sure you recorded your time correctly? Didn’t you finish way before me? Maybe I didn’t hear the correct time for myself when Russell called it out.
Weight wasn’t heavy but I couldn’t stay off my toes coming out of the squat….looks like nightly squat therapy on the dock for a little while.
Still working on linking my KPUs when I can…..getting better.
And finally got my ankle/shin looked at by Patrick…..looks like that evil snatch attempt popped right on top of a nerve….thus the forever swollen cankle and numbness 🙂 not supposed to run ……ha…..as I just ran that 5k 2 weeks ago and I am signed up for another one this Saturday.
Narrow narrow narrow grip. This one was more about technique than inability to put up weight. Prob could’ve done a little more, but wasn’t sure how ‘tough’ it was supposed to be.
275 / 9:23 Felt pretty crappy on the squats at first due to short warm up. Rounds 3, 4 and 5 were all progressively easier. Should have shot for 305. Ring dips were fun, its been a while.

Focused on form, I was not liking the low bar position today. Surprised how quickly my arms went to failure on the ring dips.
185/16:17
I should have gone at least 225 on the squats, but I kept coming up on my toes and missing depth at that weight.

Will just asked me too…I think you’re right.
My time was 19:30…I think
115lb Back Squat (90% of 3-rep max) – 4 rounds
20 ring dips (regular) – 1 round
40 ring dips (thin band) – 2 rounds
Total: 3 + 3 backsquat
In 17:29
Scaled WOD in 12:30
105 lb Back Squat and Jumping Ring Dips
335 / 8:44
155/13:30
“tip-toe” ring dips
155#
3rds + 3BS + 8dips
20min cut off
245/12:16
Ring dips were slow. Could have gone 20 pounds higher on the back squat probably
Whoops…I didnt notice I was logged in as Russell on the computer in the gym so the above time and score is mine, definitely not freak shows

And thanks to Jake for working with me on my squats……..even though I hate it 🙂

Total deltoid burner!!

205/13:08 had to warm up for a good 20min to get anywhere near proper depth. I think most of these were at least to parallel.
