I finished with an extra lunge round. I need a little extra work anyways, this one felt good. I was determined to finish ahead of lady that needs not be mentioned. I was working ahead of Craigster, but he pulled neck and neck and passed me the last two rounds.

Got the first 21 pullups, but then ran out of gas and had to break them up afterwards. Lunges weren’t fun, but were doable. Abbs still haven’t recovered from last week. I got lapped while doing the set of 18 setups. Very slow. If Russell hadn’t stopped me, I was already starting an extra set. Patrick and I get the “Can’t do Math While Working Out” Award…….

R Shoulder bothering me a little so I wanted to let it rest and avoid the pull ups today.
Did 5×5 Back Squats: 225,255,265PR,270PR skipped set 5 since I PR’d twice and gave every ounce of energy I had and then a little more on the last set of squats.

9:50 feet not anchored. Last time we did this we stopped 1 round short and I came in at 10:59. My lower abs are still sore as hell.
7:30 – feet not anchored. I’m going to need longer legs to improve this time.
9:25 feet not anchored. i had to wait for a spot on the cage one several of the sets though. my abs are also still sore.
Zak I thought last time around we only went to 9 too. My time was 14:01 then doing jumping pullups… this time was a whole other story. Finished 3 full rounds then dropped to just lunges & situps for the last 3. Still did more real pull-ups at one time than ever, so this became a strength w.o. more than a time one. Hands are TORE UP.

For dinner I had 5×5 back squats, 135, 185, 225, 275, 225 with Tricer, and then worked a bit on my butterfly kip.
I think we should replace the grip tape with Karen’s tennis racket grip. It’s much more forgiving to the hands. Bare metal is better then the grip tape. That stuff is like sand paper.

17:48 – Sit ups were surprisingly my rest time. Lunges are never fun and I’m still doing jump pull-ups.

Should have been better, but my hands were shredding with every pullup after the 15 round… tore them all to hell. Haven’t been using the pumice stone like I should.
Note to self: Wear gloves if you haven’t been filing your calluses… even if you think it’s candy ass.
