    Deadlift 5-5-5-5-5….(155 x 1,135 x 4) (135 x 5) (135 x 5) (135 x 5) (155 x 5 )
Muscles are sore from tag team and 800 meter run. It takes me forever to warm up and feel correct technique. I liked it though.

    21KB Swings

Should have used a heavier db rather than the 45# KB as this was not too difficult

50 Burpees for time: 2:22 PR

  7. Craig Herr says:

    Dead Lift 5 x5
    315 – 315 – 315 – 325 -325

Great article! I love Robb Wolf’s stuff. The observances he mentioned of Crossfit advocating weighing-and-measuring before quality food is NOT something I’ve experienced so far in my time here. Russell and Kat, you have always advocated quality vs. quantity. I started in January changing over to Paleo foods, and then in May I started Zoning with Paleo foods. The gist of the article is true: Elite athletes aren’t that way because they WAM beer and nachos. First priority is quality foods, then quantity.

  9. Mandy says:

fav article quote: “don’t piss in your gas tank”

  10. klowe says:

Finally an article that justifies my refusal to weigh and measure!!!

    I -heart- Robb Wolf!

  11. Kerri says:

    Made up Saturday’s Deadlift workout-
Russell’s right, there’s a method to the ‘madness’, better known as the order of the workouts.
Quads are pretty sore from Tabata Tag Team and the 800m run yesterday.

165-175-175-175-175-good form, body was just tired from the last two days…..

Off to the beach tomorrow through the weekend, so, will keep up with the main site or CF endurance for some good oceanside workouts!!!!

  12. Patrick says:

    7 rounds for time: 20:00
    200m row
    10 HSPU
    15 GHD sit ups

Tried to do head and hand to floor HSPU and GHD sit ups. Time sucked. I’ve done this one before at just over 10 min but with a 200m run instead of a row.

  13. Larry Lowe says:

    Hotel workout

    5 rounds:
    15 walking lunges
20 pushups (holding plank to rest)
    20 situps

I am pretty sore from deadlift workout on Sunday and the run workout yesterday. I needed an easy hotel workout. Looking forward to not working out tomorrow.

Also, say a little prayer for my daughter, Claire (8). She has staph or strep in her leg. In the hospital getting IV for 24 hours. I hate that I can’t be there with her.

  14. Daniel says:

Tag team as Rx’d, except my partner did squat therapy on the wall for his portion. I’m bad with names, but I think his name was Chris.

    5 seconds into 33 rounds.

  15. Tricer says:

    5×5 deadlifts. 265, 280, 280, 280, 305.

+ total of 25 miles on the bike

Many thanks to Josh for staying strict on my form for the workout! Avoiding another injury is first priority.

  16. Slade White says:

Had to miss today too. We’re going through layoffs at work and it’s kind of crazy at work. Hopefully next week will be better.
