    First Post – HAHA

    95-115-135-145-165-185-185

185 is my PR but I need to work on using hips instead of legs for the power on the push press.

    235
(toes on 5lb plates to keep me on me heal)
Cleaned all weight except for when Robb helped me once. Thanks Robb!
felt weird today. Not all there.

  3. Robb Dempsey says:

    95,105,135,145,165,165,175

tried to keep heel on floor, but most of the time it came off.

  4. Jakub Sikorski says:

    135-145-155-165-175-180-190-200-210(F)-205

  5. Slade White says:

    As Rx’d 95,105,135,145,165,165,175(heels came up)

    PR today

  6. JT says:

95,105,115,125,135,145(PR), 150F, 150 (PR). Went up 14 lbs. today. I like Kevin’s idea of putting weight under toes.

  7. Justin says:

    135-145-155-165-170(x)-170(x)-170(PR)
After 2 failures at 170, Russell had me attempt to press 245, then immediately try 170 again. After trying 245, 170 felt pretty light, and the weight went up without much trouble.

  8. Mandy says:

    55-65-75-85-95f-90(pr!)-95f

  9. LeshaS says:

    65-75-85-90-95-100 (pr) – 105 (f )

  10. Zak says:

185-205-215(x)-215-225(x)-225(x)-225(x)-225(x) I should have hit 220 before going to 225.

  11. Katherine Berger says:

    75-85-90-85-95-95-95

With heels firmly connected with the ground 🙂

  12. Larry Lowe says:

    95-115-135-145-155-175(f)-135

Go onto toes like everyone else.

BTW, in Mark Rippetoe’s book, he says putting stuff under your toes to get correct form is a terrible crutch because you are not addressing the problem – only striking your ego to keep pushing heavy weight.

  13. Katherine Berger says:

I guess that is why Russell refused to let us budge! He even held my heels down during FGB!

  14. klowe says:

Well….where was Rippetoe today? I could have used that tidbit prior to my little plates plan.

  15. Mandee Miller says:

    75 – 85 – 95 – 105 – 105 – 115 – 115 – 125(X) – 125 (PR)

  16. Robert Montgomery says:

    Push Press- 135-155-165-170F-170F-165 F-165

    1 hour later

5 rounds for time of 315# Deadlifts, 5 Reps, and HSPU 5 reps head to ground: Time : 11:19

  17. Katie says:

Worked on staying on heels – several reps at 65# and 75#,

    then, 85# and 90#

  18. Kerri says:

65-75-85-85-85x (went up on toes)-85-85x- Have PR’ed higher than this before in the 1-3-5 workout, but, I imagine my heels did NOT stay down….Damn the form!!!!

  19. Courtney Meyers says:

    65 – 75 – 85(f) – 75 – 80 – 85(PR) – 90(PR) – 95(f)

  20. LeshaS says:

    WAY TO GO MANDEE!

  21. joe c says:

95-105-110-115-120-125-125(pr) 130-(f). starting to seem some improvement and forms seems to be coming along

  22. tracey says:

75-85(toes)-75-85-85-95-95(fail w/ toes again)-85(accidently, picked up wrong plates!)-90(final…with heels planted)

  23. Will Blankenship says:

This one was an ego killer. I was hoping to PP 190-200 today, but the highest I got without my heels coming off the ground was 165. Time to reevaluate my 1RM on this one.

    135
    155
    175 – heels up… fail
    165 – heels up… fail
    165
    175 – heels up… fail
    175 – heels up… fail
    175 – heels up… fail

    What a disappointing day.
