    I am ready for Annie…she is my fav out of the girls ๐Ÿ™‚

    Also….I lost a necklace on Friday. I took it off to battle Eva and I haven’t seen it since. If anyone found it please let me know! I had just gotten it as a birthday present and I had it all of 24 hrs….

    I wanted sub 7, but I kept tripping myself up on the double unders. Very frustrating.

    It was fun working out with the 7am class this morning. Looks like I will be making the change to that class. My boss has been consistently on my ass lately. The 1.5 to 2 hour lunches aren’t cutting it anymore. Hopefully I can get in the habit of waking up early enough.

      This is crap. Only 5 people in the lunch class today. Pretty soon it’s going to be Murph, River, and me doing the WODs together.

      Yeah… I enjoy being able to leave the office for a couple hours in the middle of the day, but… gotta keep the bosses happy. Seeing as how I come in late, take a long lunch, and leave early… they’re watching me like a hawk. I’ve been getting away with it for a couple years. Guess it’s time to buckle up ๐Ÿ˜€

    PR by just under 20 minutes. This workout really sucks when you have to do it by yourself. Almost ate concrete big time once or twice.

    In the 15 minute cutoff, I completed
    50-40-30 + 20 Double Unders

    Last time I did Annie was right after I first started, I did 2X Single Unders and finished in 18:34, so I might’ve gotten a PR with a few more minutes.

    This time is slower than my last one, but this was the first time I was able to do this one as Rx’d so I’m calling it a pr.

      Did my best to. I was able to get 11 in a row w/ a single in between each one. This is by far better than any previous go at mulitple DUs.

    Greetings CF Huntsville CrossFitters,
    Some excellent times and PRs today. Congrats to all.

    Keep up the hard training and intensity!

    My date with Annie went pretty well, which is good as I have not hit a PR in awhile. Must be this crazy Alabama water and training at this great CF Huntsville facility.

    I would like to kindly leave some of you with a training tip.

    Double Unders are a perishable skill! You will not get proficient at them only practicing them every time they come out of the hopper (unless of course you are a gifted/genetic anomaly, and some of you are), but for the rest of us mere mortals we need to constantly practice.

    Set some small goals (i.e. 10 un-broken), build up, and practice at least 3 times a week. I like to hit them in the morning some times after that cup of joe to get the blood flowing. Find something that works for you and practice.

    I would also like to suggest you read this article in the CrossFit journal.

    Best I have ever done on double unders! Stupid shoe came untied during the 30 rep round and I kept catching so had to lose the shoes. Holy crap my calves are SORE!!!

    Big thanks to Jake for staying on me and pushing me through!!

    8:28 pr by over 10 mins.
    Took the first two rounds to find any rhythm but did last 30, 20, 10 unbroken.

    I agree Dennis. After this wod almost mentally broke me I made it a point of practicing DUs and it has helped. But I have slacked off and obviously I have a ways to go with them.

    Great job to all the PRs and to Emily for making the board!
