QOD: If you could pick out the next slogan for a new CFHSV t-shirt what would it be?
QOD: Honey Badger Don’t Give a Sh*t!
For those unaware, here you go: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4r7wHMg5Yjg
i LOVE the honey badger…..omg…
Baahhaa!! “Oh, they’re so nasty!” Hilarious!
“And what does he eat tomorrow???? F**king Cobra!” “Look at him, that sleepy F***!”
Or my favorite, “Thanks for the snack, stupid!” 🙂
QOD: “Strong Is Beautiful”
With an image of Rosie the riveter.
I like.
Tye, Scott almost blew a stitch out! That is some funny stuff. HONEY BADGERS Are badass!
Scott Rauer says: just a photo of a Honey Badger! He is still laughing.
I’m sold on the Honey Badger slogan!!!
It should have a picture of Tracey’s face with the slogan “CFHSV: NO TALKING!!!”
LMFAO!!!
Ben….That’s gold! Hilarious.
..or of Dennis working those hips 😉
Or maybe one of a bunch of peeps standing at their bar with weight in-hand, counting with their fingers and looking at each other with that confused look some of us get saying, “Math is SO hard!”
YEEESSSSSS! rude
I was thinking the subscript could say “Thats just rude!”
QOD: “It doesn’t take talent to hustle.” -H. Jackson Brown
9:26 as rx’d. Bad DU day:( Can’t wait to set the new jump rope!
These aren’t original by any means, but they’re ones I’ve seen that I remember liking:
“Do Something that Sucks Everyday”
“Breathe Later”
“I’m not telling you it’s going to be easy – I’m telling you it’s going to be worth it.” -Art Williams
And I’ve always loved the “Lift Like a Girl” and “Fran is my Homegirl” shirts for women.
6:04 rx’d.
Glad I was able to introduce some of you to the Honey Badger, they are bad little mothers.
4 rounds
95# power snatch-15 reps
15 burpees
25 double unders
Rest 4 min after round 1, 5 min after round 2, and 6 min after round 3
2:10, 2:17, 3:10, 3:27
Power output completely fell apart after round 2.
I want to get one for my granddaughter that says “My granddaddy can do more burpees than your granddaddy!” but that may speak more eloquently about her granddaddy’s intelligence than his physical prowess. Always liked “You got this” for a slogan.
QOD: “Don’t worry, You’ll pass out before you die!”
“What do we train for? Tomorrow . What happens tomorrow? Exactly!”
“3,2,1…go! If your heart rate just increased you’re an addict!”
“If you’re not nervous before the workout, It’s not hard enough!”
“Workout to exhaustion-collapse in better shape”
13:25 rxd
I like the honey badger!! So funny!
Oh and one of my favorites is
“For a good time dial 21-15-9”
QOD:
“If not you, who? If not now, when?”
“The quality of a person’s life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence.”
This one is common in the Fire Service, but I think it certainly applies to CF.
“Train like your life depends on it, because it does.”
What’s up with the pic of the day. It looks like Brian and I have shrunken beetlejuice heads. 🙂
Honey badger on the front and the following on the back????

Shit, that didn’t work…
12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. 13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 3:12-14
I like that!
QOD:
I have always liked the “my goal is to beat yours” and “your workout is my warmup”.
But for CFHSV:
“Our logo is not a transformer.”
“Will muscleup for carbs.”
“I saw a bunny.”
OMG, I LOVE the “Our logo is not a Transformer!” Baahhaa! I don’t know how many times I’ve heard, “Is that a Transformer sticker on the back of your truck?”
2 instances over the weekend in my CFHSV sweats, I was asked the same thing… So, yes, that slogan is apropos!
In all seriousness, I have always found Winston Churchill to be inspiring. Probably over-wordy for a t-shirt, but worth sharing:
“Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and the glory of the climb.”
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”
“I would say to the House, as I said to those who have joined this Government: ‘I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears, and sweat.’ We have before us an ordeal of the most grievous kind. We have before us many, many long months of struggle and of suffering. You ask, what is our policy? I will say: It is to wage war, by sea, land and air, with all our might and with all the strength that God can give us: to wage war against a monstrous tyranny, never surpassed in the dark, lamentable catalogue of human crime. That is our policy. You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word: It is victory, victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory, however long and hard the road may be; for without victory, there is no survival.”
“We shall not fail or falter; we shall not weaken or tire. Neither the sudden shock of battle, nor the long-drawn trials of vigilance and exertion will wear us down. Give us the tools and we will finish the job.”
“Never give in — never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense.”
A few of us have planned on meeting at Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the CF games tomorrow night at 7:00pm. Please join us and spread the word!
