U.S. Army First Lieutenant Todd W. Weaver, 26, of Hampton, Virginia, assigned to the 1st Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), based out of Fort Campbell, Kentucky, died on September 9, 2010, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit with a roadside bomb in Kandahar, Afghanistan. He is survived by his wife Emma, daughter Kiley, parents Don and Jeanne, and siblings Glenn, Adrianna, and Christina.

    Pushups as RX’ed, scaled pullups to 5 per round (60 total). 16min flat, worked some more L-sits until 25min cutoff. Hands still torn up from Chelsea. Bonus: warm-up in the parking lot, plus Jake’s “competition pushups” 😉

    Push ups were killer, arms feel as big as my thighs about now. 😉

      I was there just a week ago last Friday-The Friday after Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday)-there were only 3 of us in class…ha!…..those guys were so nice! Glad you’re getting your fill of drop-ins while you’re on travel!

    Okay, so Tracey started off today by telling us about “Weaver” and his story (which, of course, made Kristi and I tear up), and then got her serious face on and told us to shut up and put up – no bitching, cause when it hurts, we need to remember to be thankful we’re here and able to even attempt to do this WOD. I LOVED her seriousness and intensity – great coaching today, T!
