On Saturday, December 5th, the CrossFit family will support the families of the victims killed in the shootings at Ft. Hood on November 5th through the Lumberjack CrossFit Memorial Hero WOD.

    In the pic above, are his arms supposed to be that bent? Not knowing his state of fatigue, I’m only curious because this isn’t what we are taught, at least not how I’ve interpreted it?

    The Lumberjack 20 looks gnarly, I’m looking forward to it and donating what I can.

    On Saturday, the 5th of December, CrossFit Huntsville will host a
    charitable crossfit competition. Our goal is to support the families
    of the victims killed in the shootings at Ft. Hood on November 5th
    through the Lumberjack CrossFit Memorial Hero WOD.

    Saturdays events will consist of the memorial hero workout, and a few
    other competitive “tasks”.
    We will be giving out a number of prizes based on these events,
    Ranging from T-shirts and jump-ropes to two brand-new barbells+collars
    donated by Slade White. After the competition we will have a BYOB
    cook-out!

    AMRAP in 20 mins of:

    25 Burpees
    175#Squats- 15 reps

    4 rounds plus 24 burpees. Horrible performance. Felt week physically and mentally. Need more sleep, less stress, better food. I’ve been in a slump for about 3 weeks now that started with getting sick. I’m looking forward to getting back on track now.

    Boy, really felt the fatigue factor today– poor sleep (thanks, kids!), and did the 6am WOD after working out last pm at 5pm. Thanks to Russell, Josh, Aaron and Paul for helping with my technique.

    Now… how ’bout some TURKEY!!! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

    Maybe Kerri and I can make a visit to CF Atlanta or another box in the area for the lumberjack WOD if they are doing it on the 5th.
